She was booked in2 jail yesterday. She's a former public defender who Gascon hired to be 1 of the most powerful ppl in his office, overseeing all prosecutions of law enforcement, & in charge of “office integrity”. The CA AG’s office accuses her of accessing & taking confidential LACSD's personnel records during her time there, then illegally bringing them to Gascon’s DA office for use there. I’m told she can face up to 9 yrs & 8 mths in prison if convicted. Unrelated, she was also accused in a whistleblower lawsuit last fall of purposely delaying decisions to not file charges against @LASDHQ deputies in high profile use of incidents, allegedly in an effort to impact the 2022 Sheriff’s election, during which then LA County Sheriff @AlexVilanueva33, a political rival of Gascon, was up for re-election.
