15 💣 🇺🇸 🌊 On May 11, 1962 in the Pacific Ocean, a RUR-5 ASROC missile armed with a 10-kiloton W44 nuclear warhead was launched from the destroyer USS Agerholm. The missile covered a distance of 3975 m, went into the water, and detonated 40 seconds later at a depth of 198 m.
💥 The detonation, overseen by the United States Department of Defense as part of a doomsday program code-named Swordfish, was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of a new anti-submarine rocket system — the RUR-5 ASROC. Swordfish was one of 36 atomic trials performed as part of the DoD-sponsored Operation Dominic I between April 1962 and November 1962.

18 Something that unsettles us with the wider movement is the persistence of political cults.
Political cults are antithetical to Fascism despite popular historical narrative. Hitler himself in criticism of Stalin's cult of personality on how a leader should be judged for their actions, not whether or not they live like Jesus Christ.
Too often we see some group where the focus isn't on actually doing things worthwhile but instead focusing on their leader and how virtuous they are.
It's even more laughable when you look into their personal lives of these self-important cult leaders. They're just narcissistic losers who without their group of guys with daddy issues would just be some failson working at his daddy's business.
