🦋 Friends of ours are inviting our Berlin readers to an event: GREY GROUP Pedagogical Methodology of Advanced Drawing Practices The exhibition presents DRAWING THESAURUS, an educational program designed and led by Anastasia Ryabova during the winter semester 2025/2026 at UdK Berlin (Studium Generale). It displays materials from preliminary focus groups, the content of each seminar, including practical assignments and student responses. The program is also complemented by a series of visual and textual comments contributed by Nora Ashwood, Marina Pinsky, Yozhy Stolet, Alexander Wolff & others. DRAWING THESAURUS is a continuation of Ryabova's analytical work begun in 2008 with megazin_biz, and further developed through the Star Roads, Candy, Untangled, +, From Your Morning to My Night and Thread in the City. The project is dedicated to exploring formal categories specific to drawing in their clash with modern political constraints. The core of the course is practice-based and organized around a series of exercises. Their aim is to learn how to deviate from the traps of the contemporary visual industry and its unsuitable politics of images, while also tracking the reconfiguration of the drawer's optics — all the while keeping in mind the reconfiguration of the learning process itself. Уже три дня мне ничего не снится, а до этого весь месяц снились поэтические мероприятия: презентация журнала «Транспорт» на дрейфующем айсберге. У всех поэтов лица размыты, у каждого в руках по пингвину. Пингвины декламируют что-то необъяснимо прекрасное, совершенно новые стихи, непохожие ни на что. После пробуждения, я всё пытался их вспомнить и записать. Вот, кажется, что-то вышло, совсем не то.
