The most important question I ask when attending any program or workshop is this:
“How can I apply this?” or “How can I apply this better?”
This is because instead of asking myself whether I have already heard whatever the trainer was teaching, I find it more profitable & useful to ask myself how to IMPLEMENT what I learnt.
This way, I know I’ll be able to achieve actual & concrete results for the years to come.
My favourite quote of all time is this:
“If Information is the Answer, Everyone would be Billionaires with Perfect Abs.”
This is because in the age of Information Overload…
Many of us suffer from Implementation Underload.

How I helped hundreds of startup founders in the “Silicon Valley” of Southeast Asia (that resulted in millions of dollars in funding)
Hey folks,
Later today, I'll be sharing to my email subscribers what were the most important lessons & strategies that helped the founders I previously helped to raise millions of dollars of funding, investments & government grants.
- What to do when you are starting out
- What happens if your product is not out yet
- What's even more important than finding new customers

Over the past 10 years, I’ve invested $150,000+ to attend seminars & coaching programs.
These topics include anything from business, personal development, investments, high performance, and even mastering my memory…
And while I’ve made every single dollar back & more,
One lesson stands out above everything else, which is this.
“Success has almost NOTHING to do with Information, but EVERYTHING to do with Implementation.”
Learning does not equate to results.
Taking action on what you learnt does.
Many "hustler" entrepreneurs say they want to make money in a scalable & sustainable manner.
But they continue to take action on activities that takes up a lot of time & effort....
And then say they don't have time to build systems & processes to build their business sustainably.
They seem to unconciously take being busy, overwhelmed, and caught up as a fact of life...
But that's why the vicious cycle repeats itself.
Following “successful people” stopped being useful for me.
Years ago, I’d take the advice of & follow anything successful millionaires & entrepreneurs would tell me to do.
And while I still credit lots of my success because of that…
I am a lot more picky now because I am way clearer of my goals, values, and vision than before.
This is why instead of learning from just any “successful” person out there…
I will always ask myself if it’s relatable to my goals of building a Lucrative Lifestyle Business instead of what society deems “successful”, which are usually entrepreneurs who publicly list or sell their company.
This is not only to ensure that I become Rich, but to be Fulfilled & Happy too.
Model First, Innovate Later.
While you can learn & achieve faster results by modelling after what people have already done…
At some point, you’ll need to personalise whatever you model to your own business & life.
This is to prevent you from burning out by doing something you might not align with over a long period of time,
And to ensure you are not just a smart “copycat” of others.
How to “guarantee” your success whenever you invest in a coaching or mentorship program?
⭐️Be open to feedback instead of being defensive about it
⭐️Schedule time in advance to attend calls & implement what you have learnt
⭐️Understand that success will take time & not expect instant results right away
⭐️Be clear about WHY you are signing up for a particular program & take responsibility for your actions & results
⭐️Realise that you WILL make mistakes, but the most important thing is to learn from them
By doing the above, you’ll stand out from people who:
❌Always waiting for to take advantage of any “guarantee” that comes along
❌Constantly complain about everything and hoping for a magic pill to save you
❌Assume that everything will be handed over to you on a silver platter
❌Don’t bother reflecting & reviewing your progress
❌Dabble from one new thing to another without committing to the journey
And if you continue doing what’s right…you can’t help but to eventually succeed.
Over the years, my team and I have invited a few clients to stop working with us.
These were the two main reasons why:
1) We knew we weren’t the best fit for them moving forward
2) They did not exhibit the values we were looking for as part of our community
We still have an amazing relationship with our clients who graduate because of #1 - and we are super happy for them.
For #2, they are mostly folks who were not willing to pay the “price”, aka time, effort & attention, etc.
They say a big game but are not willing to back it up with their actions.
Yes, many perks come with building a lifestyle business, but you’d still need to take action if you want to succeed.
Investing in a coaching program does not mean you’ll automatically “succeed”.
You’ll still need to:
- Implement what you learnt
- Open up & ask for help whenever you are stuck
- Be open to accept feedback & adjust your actions after
- Attend the calls & follow the process
- Take 100% responsibility for YOUR success
And even if you paid thousands if you don’t follow the above…
Your chances of success will be minimal.
It's one thing to learn from all the legends of business, marketing, copywriting, productivity etc.
Bonus points if you can recite all the theories & concepts that they have taught easily...
However, it's another thing to implement & take action to achieve tangible results.
Don't give yourself excuses (oh I can't focus much or I have always been like that etc),
Be open to feedback instead of being defensive about it...
And just have faith and keep taking action.
You got this :)
“Most people will not care about what you have to say.”
That’s what I realised as soon as I started posting content online.
This was not based on self-doubt but simply realising that I had almost zero credibility & trust.
And so, what I did when starting out was to simply SHARE what I learnt from other, more established brands.
By leveraging from them, I was able to rapidly build my personal branding & grew my business in a very short period of time.
This lesson alone has helped me to make >$300K just from my side hustles
When I was 15, I was a tuba player in my school’s military band, known for being one of the best in Singapore.
However, I’ve always felt my personal skills were average.
It was only until my assistant conductor asked me to teach his other schools how to play the tuba better that changed my perspective.
That’s because not only did it surprise me that I’d be invited to do so in the first place, but he’d pay me ~$50/hour, which was WAY MORE than what I could have earned anywhere else!
This is when I realised something.
I did not have to be an “expert” to make money; all I needed was to be a few steps ahead of others willing to pay.
This simply means I don’t have to be a level 100 to help someone who’s a level 1.
It’s easy to twist facts to your advantage.
But the important question is if you can live with yourself by putting others down.
If you did something wrong in the past, don’t “blame” others or say it’s because you “had to do it for them and I had no other choice”.
Own up to the mistake, take responsibility, and move forward.
Money is important, but I’d say living a fulfilled & honest life is even more crucial.
It was previously announced that the Rock is now joining the board of TKO - aka the parent company of WWE & UFC.
And this shows the power of a brilliant business partnership.
Not only will the Rock be paid a lot for his “new job”, he also gets back the rights to all his most famous catchphrases.
Not only will WWE enjoy greater views & sales from having him return…sources say that’s why they were able to clinch a 5 Billion dollar deal with Netflix.
And so, if any folks reading here are serious about 10Xing our financial growth…
Something we can ask ourselves is who are the people we can potentially collaborate with.
Because the more win-win partnerships we have…
The more money we can likely make.
There’s only a very small number of people I consistently actually look up to for advice or their opinions.
And so, here are 4 questions I ask each time someone tries to do it…
1. Have they achieved what I want?
2. Do they actually understand my situation?
3. Do I resonate with their values?
4. Are they coming from a genuine space to add value?
Doing this has allowed me to not only build a great lifestyle business, but doing so while being true to myself too.
If you're unhappy about your results in any area of your life...
The first thing to ask is if you have been doing anything about it in the first place.
And even if you have taken action...
Is it reasonable to expect your desired level of results given the amount of effort & time you've put into it?
If not, you might want to re-consider...
I’ve had people disagree with me when I entered the startup industry.
I’ve had people tell me that learning self-help & personal growth is a waste of time.
I’ve had people make sarcastic comments when I started to attend seminars & workshops.
I’ve had people talk behind my back when I started the Master Implementers movement.
I’ve had people tell me I was wrong when I wanted to transition from “hustling” to building a lifestyle business.
And guess what? That’s completely fine.
There are thousands of ways to succeed - and everyone is entitled to their own views.
But no one’s opinion is more important than YOU.
I believe anyone can achieve their goals & dreams if they set their mind to it.
However, I also believe that we are unable to achieve everything all at once.
Instead, we’ll need to take a step-by-step approach and focus,
Because as the old saying goes,
If we try to do everything…we achieve nothing.
