My Work is my Reward
Besides my usual travels with my wife and loved ones, my best days come when I am doing work I feel energized, fulfilled, and passionate about.
Even though all I need is about two hours each day, I still choose to work many more hours than that because I actually enjoy what I do; time passes by fast when that happens.
For example, I enjoy creating posts, crafting step-playbooks, and coaching clients to help them achieve the best versions of themselves - doing all these while getting paid is an amazing bonus.
I feel MORE energized when doing the above, not less.
Most successful people are created when they do things even when they dont feel like doing it.
Yes, you can go rah rah, learn and get excited, be inspired, and motivated...
But nothing significant gets done if you only rely on these emotions to keep doing what's required to succeed.
Food for thought.
I don’t get burnt out or overwhelmed because I only have a few key priorities every 90 days.
In short, I say No to the Good Things to say Yes to the Great.
Every 90 days, I strategize my biggest needle-moving activities that can help me achieve my goals as effectively as possible, 5-10Xing my growth with a fraction of the effort.
Most people think once things are smooth they dont have to reflect anymore - dangerous mindset.
This is because they start training themselves to be reactive instead of proactive.
I have seen so many people stop improving and getting better because once things are smooth, they start "cruising" and neglect the fundamentals.
It's tough to succeed when you are only after doing things ONLY when you need it.
Shucks :/
"If only I could do this.....things would have been better"
After interviewing 40+ leaders and close to 10 years of personal experience: I realise that 99% of the time, there is always SOMETHING else we could have all done better on.
Yes, it's great to have everything to be as precise, perfect, and amazing as possible...
But most of the time we get better by doing it imperfectly, reviewing the data, and getting better again.
This is especially true for most lifestyle entrepreneurs (or unless you are in the airline, medical industry etc where every % is crucial)
Something worth thinking about :)
My 5 Daily Needle Movers
Every day, I focus on just 5 key activities to grow my business; they usually take 2 hours or less.
I can be traveling, enjoying myself for the rest of the day, or just chilling around. As long as I complete these five activities, I know I am well on my way to achieving my $50,000/month plan while saving lots of energy, time, and effort.
Over the years, I have learned that choosing the right things to focus on is more important than working hard.
Reminder to Self:
✅No matter what people say or society thinks, I am ALREADY very successful (read quote below).
✅This is true despite the MANY mistakes, failures, and sturggles I have been through (and will continue doing so).
✅There will be nights I will FEEL demoralised, afraid, or even fearful, but it does not mean that whatever I am feeling is true.
✅Gratitude is one of the most powerful feelings on Earth
✅The more I focus on simply improving one step at a time instead of achieving the goal itself, the more likely I will succeed.
You got this.

How to Overcome Procastination & Laziness (according to the Tate Brothers)
Not the way I'd say this, but I thought many people could benefit from this:

Enjoy! :)
Seek to detach emotions to how you are performing in business or work.
I get we are humans but the more we attach our feelings or self worth to our performance at work/biz, be it social media, completing projects, sales etc, the more dangerous it is for the long term.
That's because we waste a lot of energy feeling furstrated and disappointed instead of finding out how to improve what we do OBJECTIVELY and STRATEGICALLY.
I had posts that bombed. Bad business months. poor sales. Mistakes made.
I am human and have definitely felt bad about it, but when i finally decide to objectively improve instead of feeling sian about it, that's when I improve and get better the most.
Jiayou everyone :)
Reminder for the Day:
Success isn't just about reaching the destination; it's about embracing the journey, trusting the process, and finding growth in every step forward, so...
Trust the PROCESS and the process will TAKE CARE of itself.
Keep Implementing! :)
You should understand that REJECTION is part of the game.
You get paid not for the sales that you close, but for the rejections that you get.
Embrace It!
You can achieve EVERYTHING you want for your personal and professional life.
The problem is you can't do it all at once.
If you decide to do many different things all at one go but expect amazing imagine results in every single area, you will probably find yourself disappointed and frustrated.
You CAN do it, but don't expect amazing results.
Instead, what I prefer is to focus on a few key goals every 3-6 months.
I achieve faster results and more effective progress this way.
It feels so much less stressful and overwhelming too.
Work Hard, but please work Smart too.
What pains me is when I see many driven and amazing people who take lots of action but fail just because they don't focus.
Dont focus on step 10 when you haven't completed step 1 or 2 yet.
It's normal to be excited but the reason why folks get overwhelmed or struggle is because they are thinking of the many steps ahead instead of the current one.
Step by step. Focus on what's needed. And keep moving forward from there.
Then once every quarter or so, you can strategise your mid-long term goals, refine your vision etc.
But doing it every day leads to lots of wasted effort and progress.
Here’s the simple 2 step formula JP Morgan paid $25,000 to become even richer & wealthier:
1.) Every morning, write down a list of things that need to be done for that day.
2.) Do them.
Simple, right?!
Want to feel confident and powerful?
Adjust your posture, sit or stand up, chest out, and don't let yourself stoop down.
You can't help but feel better after.
When receiving feedback or advice from anyone, ask yourself these 4 questions:
1. Have they achieved what you want
2. Do they understand your context and situation (e.g. priorities)
3. Do they have similar values and goals to you
4. Do they have your best interests in mind
And if you are not confident after asking above, just take whatever they say with a pinch of salt :)
Reminder for the Day
If you think about it very objectively, success and fulfillment in life are just about 2 things; making more good decisions while avoiding the bad ones.
Choose wisely!
Most dangerous thing is to keep stuff to yourself.
Especially if you have challenges or need help.
Chances are whatever you are facing in life, someone might have faced it or at least have some experience to help.
In short, everything is "figure-outable".
But the first step is to ask. To reach out. To get feedback.
And that's how you win :)
Reminder for the Day
Dig your Well before you are Thirsty.
Don't wait till you want to launch, promote or sell something before you start actively reaching out etc - by then it's abit too late.
Grow your traffic. Create content. Add value. Help people. Connect - all BEFORE you go for the Ask.
This way you won't have to worry about "not having enough leads" or "not finding enough people to sell to" when you do want to launch something.
Jiayou everyone!
