What Is Amazon Ec2 Service? Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) is a web service that provides resizable (scalable) computing capacity in the cloud. You can use Amazon EC2 to launch as many virtual servers you need. In Amazon EC2 you can configure security and networking as well as manage storage.Amazon EC2 service also helps in obtaining and configuring capacity using minimal friction. What Are The Features Of The Amazon Ec2 Service? 📍Virtual computing environment. 📍Pre-configured templates for your instances. 📍Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) is a complete package that you need for your server (including the operating system and additional software) 📍Amazon EC2 provides various configurations of CPU, memory, storage and networking capacity for your instances 📍Secure login information for your instances using key pairs (AWS stores the public key and you can store the private key in a secure place) 📍A firewall that enables you to specify the protocols, ports, and source IP ranges that can reach your instances using security groups. 📍Static IP addresses for dynamic cloud computing (known as Elastic IP address)

Key Differences Between MySQL and PostgreSQL 1. The architectural difference between MySQL and PostgreSQL is that MySQL is a relational database management system whereas, PostgresSQL is object-relational database management system. 2. MySQL is supported by the following operating system, Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, BSD, UNIX, z/OS, Symbian, AmigaOS. However, the PostgreSQL is supported by Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD but not by UNIX, z/OS, Symbian, AmigaOS. 3. MySQL is the product of Oracle Corporation while PostgreSQL is a product of Global Development Group. 4. My SQL programming language is not extensible whereas, the programming language PostgreSQL is highly extensible. 5. In MySQL, the phpMyAdmin tool provides GUI and SQL interface. However, in PostgreSQL, the pgAdmin tool provides GUI and SQL interface. 6. In MySQL, Mysqldump, and XtraBackup tools provides backup. On the other hands, PostgresSQL provides complete backup online. 7. MySQL provides temporary tables but does not provide materialized view. However, PostgreSQL provides temporary table and also the materialized view. 8. MySQL does not offers data domain object whereas, PostgreSQL provide data domain object.

Cloud offering 3 types of service models as follows: IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service): IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service) is the base layer and typically provide access to networking, virtual machines, storage. The client has the highest level of flexibility and management over resources compared to PAAS and SAAS. PAAS (Platform as a Service): PAAS(Platform as a Service) provides flexibility to users that they no need to manage the underlying infrastructure like operating system, runtime, software maintenance, patching etc.PAAS is suitable for developers because of provider will manage OS, servers, storage, Networking. So they can only concentrate on the development of the application. SAAS (Software as a Service): SAAS(Software as a Service) is most popular and easy to use. Because service provider takes care of all the responsibilities like networking, storage, servers, firewalls, runtime, data, application. whenever client chooses cloud type as SAAS, he/she don't have any control over the resources under the application and responsibilities.

*What are the different Storage's in Windows Azure?* *BLOB* : BLOBs offer a component for storing a lot of content or binary data, for example, pictures, sound and visual documents. It can scale up to 200 terabytes and can be acquired by utilizing REST APIs *Table* : Tables represents storage areas across machines for information that is in the form of properties on the cloud. *Line* : The sole target of a Queue is to empower communication amongst Web and Worker Role instances. They help in storing messages that may accessed to by a customer.

2003: In 2003, Chris Pinkham and Benjamin Black presented a paper on how Amazon's infrastructure should look like. They suggested to sell it as a service and prepared a business case on it. They prepared a six-page document and had a look over it to proceed with it or not. They decided to proceed with the documentation. 2004: SQS stands for "Simple Queue Service" was officially launched in 2004. A team launched this service in Cape Town, South Africa. 2006: AWS (Amazon Web Services) was officially launched. 2007: In 2007, over 180,000 developers had signed up for the AWS. 2010: In 2010, amazon.com retail web services were moved to the AWS, i.e., amazon.com is now running on AWS. 2011: AWS suffered from some major problems. Some parts of volume of EBS (Elastic Block Store) was stuck and were unable to read and write requests. It took two days for the problem to get resolved. 2012: AWS hosted a first customer event known as re:Invent conference. First re:invent conference occurred in which new products were launched. In AWS, another major problem occurred that affects many popular sites such as Pinterest, Reddit, and Foursquare. 2013: In 2013, certifications were launched. AWS started a certifications program for software engineers who had expertise in cloud computing. 2014: AWS committed to achieve 100% renewable energy usage for its global footprint. 2015: AWS breaks its revenue and reaches to $6 Billion USD per annum. The revenue was growing 90% every year. 2016: By 2016, revenue doubled and reached $13Billion USD per annum. 2017: In 2017, AWS re: invent releases a host of Artificial Intelligence Services due to which revenue of AWS doubled and reached $27 Billion USD per annum. 2018: In 2018, AWS launched a Machine Learning Speciality Certs.
