This particular monoclonal antibody achieved 100% cancer remission without chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or the toxic side effects that come with such therapies.
The authors wrote:
“All 12 patients (100%; 95% confidence interval) had a clinical complete response, with no evidence of tumor on magnetic resonance imaging ... and no cases of progression or recurrence had been reported during follow-up (range, 6 to 25 months after treatment). No adverse events of grade 3 or higher have been reported.”
How does this monoclonal antibody actually work?

15 I was digging around in a store cupboard today & found this object.
The house we moved into last year has an inbuilt sound system, to which theoretically a number of sources could be connected. I finally got around to trying a few things, like an iPod (remember those?) & a CD player (does anyone still use these?). They work & we can set music to play in any or all ground floor rooms. Not connected to the net. It’s rather an old school feeling.
Anyway, the point of this post is to show you a picture of what’s called in the biotech trade as “a tombstone”. Experienced lawyers and financiers have lots of these on their shelves.
In addition to the name and logo of the business (Ziarco, my former biotech, which I named & came up with that simple logo for), there’s the acquirers name and logo plus the investors & law firms involved.
I don’t have this out on display any more. It was a different time and I was of a very different mindset.

31 Good Sunday morning, Chalksters. It’s time for a little altitude with reverence.
I spent the last week or so listening to people I know well arguing over Israel and Palestine.
The truth is, we don’t know exactly what is going on there. The fog of war is thick.
But I have made the blanket statement that I will never support any government or organization that kills women and children with impunity. To call them collateral damage is to buy into the notion that war at all costs can be justified.
The reality of war is that some innocents will be lost. That admission has little to do with justification.
Every call for ceasefire or diplomatic resolution has been ignored. Israel is not denying that civilians are dying, they simply believe it is a necessary and justified aspect of the war they fight. I cannot share that opinion.
The idea that God could smile down on any battlefield where a child lies dead is a sacrilege in my view. There are no righteous wars when innocents are the victims.
Call this naïveté of you’d like. These are my opinions and you don’t have to agree.
I hate the terrorists. I hate the war machine. Still, I will never be able to bring myself to justify a war on the innocent, and I will never be able to remove their innocence in my mind because of the place of their birth. I pray for the children of Palestine. I pray Hamas will not use them as human shields, and I pray Israel will exercise care in their attacks.
In the end, our opinions won’t change the war or the outcome, save maybe for getting Trump into a position to put an end to the bloodshed.
People are people the world over, and as far as I’m concerned, Satan laughs when we justify the death of innocents. Satan laughs when we hate. Satan laughs when we are divided.
I won’t be cheering his laughter.
