✅Earth observation satellite EOS-05
🅾️What?- India’s first ever imaging satellite to monitor from Geosynchronous orbit about 36,000 km above the Earth.
🅾️Context: Usually, Earth Observation Satellites (EOS) are placed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) (around 500–800 km) to get detailed, close-up pictures of the Earth.Placed approximately 36,000 km above Earth, a satellite in GEO matches the Earth's rotation. This allows EOS-05 to continuously monitor the Indian subcontinent in real-time without interruption, earning it the nickname ‘Eye in the Sky’.
📌Applications: It provides real-time data crucial for disaster management, environmental monitoring, agriculture, and strategic national activities.
⚠️Launch vehicle- At 2367 kg, EOS-05 is the heaviest satellite injected into orbit by this specific configuration of the GSLV so far.

⚜️ISRO has successfully carried out the first ground test of the solid motor-based Sub-Orbital Launch Vehicle for Experiments, SOLVE, at the Static Test Facility, Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.SOLVE will be used as a test platform for Gaganyaan test missions, especially for Integrated Parachute Tests of the crew module.SOLVE is a test vehicle, not the final human-spaceflight rocket.
⚜️Integrated Air Drop Test, IADT-02- Used to validate parachute and recovery systems under simulated descent conditions.

🅾️Frogs Build Clouds: What Foam-Nesting Frogs Teach Us About Survival
📌This is a case of Animal Behaviour- dont try to remember the name of the frog- focus on why they do this?- the survival logic- The African grey foam-nest tree frog does something unusual. Instead of laying eggs directly in water like most frogs, it builds a foamy nest on tree branches hanging over pools. The nest looks like a cloudy mass of bubbles. Inside it, the eggs develop safely. When the tadpoles are ready, they break through the foam and fall into the water below.

✅Birsa Munda- Click here
🅾️Q. Birsa Munda’s movement transformed Adivasi resistance from a local revolt into a wider assertion of identity, land rights and self-governance. Discuss.
⚜️First, it asserted land rights. The movement challenged encroachment on Adivasi land and later contributed to recognition of customary systems such as Khuntkatti, culminating in the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act, 1908.
⚜️Second, it defended Adivasi identity. Birsa was revered as Dharti Aba, and his vision located identity in ancestry, community, land and culture rather than religion alone.
⚜️Third, it articulated self-rule through the idea of disum, reflecting community autonomy and resistance to external domination.
⚜️Fourth, it shaped later politics. Dombari Buru became a symbol of resistance, and Birsa’s legacy influenced the Jharkhand statehood movement.
