🌚 Leiomyoma of Uterus :-
Also known as Uterine fibroid
🌟 is a Benign smooth muscle tumor of the Uterus. .doesn't invade
🌟 Most common type of tumor in females
🌟 May due to genetic predisposition or Increse estrogen and progesterone
🌟 May be solitary ( single) of commoly multiple

🌟 Asymptomatic leiomyomas usually Untreated
According to site which determines it severity and Shows the symptoms
🌟 Diagnosis:
Ultrasound >> thickning
Not Curttage >> لانو احنا بهذي الطريقة ناخذ اندومتريال سيل وبتكون نورمال ..
🌟 It is classified according to where it is located in the Uterus ..

🌟 Gross :
Rounded mass ( firm ) and variable in size
🌟 Microscopically:
Bundles of smooth muscles and Fibrous tissue

🌚Endometrial hyperplasia:-
⚡️is a condition in which the endometrium becomes abnormally thick. Although it is not cancer, it can lead to uterine cancer in some women.
⚡️Endometrial hyperplasia is usually caused by an excess of estrogen From different factors like theca cell tumor of the ovary or prolonged excessive Hormonal contraceptives ( estrogen)
⚡️Gross:
Endometrial is thickened ( either granular , nodular or polypoid ) with slight enlargement of Uterus
⚡️ Microscopically : follow pictures

🌚 Endometrial Polyp :
✨Polyps are abnormal tissue growths with Fibrovascular cord
>> تحتاج ال Blood Supply عشان نموها
✨ Endometrial polyp usually benign and may be sometimes it turns to cancerous
✨may be Asymptomatic >> resolve from it's own ...ot it needs surgical removal
✨Gross :
Gray .. and fleshy
✨ Microscopically:
Hyperplastic Acini lined with multiple layers of clomunar cells in fibrocelluar stroma ..

💐 Endometrial cancer 💐
🍃 is a cancer that arises from the endometrium (the lining of the uterus or womb).
🍃The first sign is bleeding .. and may cause Infertility! Due to inability to Implant
🍃Endometrium:
Mucusa : is simple clomunar cillated epithelium with secretory cells
Submucusal CT
💐 Diagnosis: Biobsy or dilation & curettage procedure ( removing endometrial cells )
💐Treatment: Usually include hormoal therapy in benign and mild cases
Most often : Hysterectomy
💐 Hysterectomy: is complete removal of upper part of the vagina with Uterine cervix, whole Uterus , both fallopian tube and both ovaries

🌺 الإثنين:
1- محاضرة فارما مع الدكتور عدنان CNS اخذ فيها Anti- epileptic Drugs
2- إختبار بكتيريا نصفي 😍❤️
🌺 الثلاثاء :
محاضرة فيروساات مع الدكتور صالح باحاج واخذنا موضوع ( Paramyxovirus)
🌺 الاربعاء :
1- محاضرة فارما مع الدكتور عدنان بعنوان ال Anti-Parkinson 's Drugs
2- محاضرة باثولجي تعويضية مع الدكتور عبدالله الذبحاني اخذ فيها Tumors of small and large Intestine من صفحة 52 للاخير ..
و ختم المحاضرة فتح جدول مقارنة بين ال Ulcerative colitis ( UC) & Cohn's Disease (CD ) واللي هي أمراض ال Inflammatory Bowel Disease بس ما عاد شرحها

🌑 Complications of Ovarian cysts:
⚡️1- Cyst can be Heamorrhagic
⚡️2- Cyst may repture to the pertonial cavity
⚡️3- Ovarian Torsion:
when an ovary twists around the suspensory ligaments. This twisting can cut off blood flow to the ovary and fallopian tube . Ovarian torsion can cause severe pain and other symptoms because the ovary is not receiving enough blood

🌚Ovarian cysts 🌚
🌑Def: It is a fluid-filled sacs on or in the ovaries
🌑Can effect females of any ages commonly in reproductive age
🌑 Functional Cysts ?
Occurs when normal cycle development is distributed
🌜1- Follicular cyst:
Follicles fail to repture and Keep Growing ( LH surge dose not happen )
🌜3- corpus luteum cyst :
Follicles rapture > but close again and continue to grow
If related blood Vessels rapture
🌛4- Heamorrhagic Cyst ( Chocolate Cyst 🍫)
🌜5- simple cyst :- Small with clear serrous liquid with smooth lining >> Asymptomatic >> only found in some cases of Hysterectomy
🌜6- Polycystic ovarian syndrome :
( failure of Hypothamic - pituitary- Ovarian axid )
Chronic Anovulation ( no ovulation)
a) Amenorrhea
b) Absent menstruation
c) Androgen production
🌛7- theca- lutein Cyst:
rare , by increased human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) serum levels. It occurs during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle or during early pregnancy.
