ALTITUDE: At the higher altitudes , the amount of atmosphere decreases and as the result there is less water vapour in the air. The atmosphere absorbs less heat and therefore the temperature at higher altitude drops.
(4b)
DISTANCE FROM THE SEA: When the sea is cooler than the land in summer, it lower the temperature of coastal place. However , during the winter the sea is warmer than the land and keep coastal places warmer by moderating the winter temperature.
(4c)
SLOPE AND ASPECT: in the temperate areas, the sun is low angle in winter, this will affect the temperature of slopes that face north to south. in north hemisphere, the south facing slope receive greater concentration of solar radiation and usually warmer than the north facing slope.

Hydraulic action: The wearing down of cliff/headland through the impact produced by the sheer force of the waves against obstacles along the coast. In other words the sheer force of water crashing against the coastline causing material to be dislodged and carried away by the sea. And the Compression occurs in rocky areas when air enters into crack in rock.
(3bii)
Corrasion: The wearing down of the base of cliff/headland using the impact of the materials carried along by waves. In other words the strictly mechanical wear of bedrock by moving detrital and other materials during their migration downslope under the influence of gravity, and their further transportation by erosional agencies such as running water, moving ice, or wind.
