Today, in a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled in West Virginia v. B.P.J. that Title IX and the Fourteenth Amendment do not prevent states from protecting girls and women from competing in sports against men who identify as women.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that geofence warrants by law enforcement constitute searches under the Fourth Amendment in the case Chatrie v. US. Writing for the majority, Justice Kagan ruled that police officers conducted a Fourth Amendment search when they acquired Chatrie’s location data from Google because an individual has a reasonable expectation of privacy in his cell-phone location information.

Today, the Supreme Court granted cert and will hear the case, IPEC v. Ferguson, out of Washington State, as to whether parents have standing to challenge state laws that allow the transitioning of minors BEFORE their children are transitioned.

In another 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court held that the Trump Administration's decision to end TEMPORARY Protected Status (TPS) for aliens from Syria and Haiti is not subject to court review.
This should end the lower courts blocking Trump's TPS revocations for other countries as well.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that Hawaii’s ban on concealed carry on private property open to the public, without the permission of the business, is unconstitutional. The decision reverses the Ninth Circuit, striking down Hawaii’s Act 52 as violating the Second Amendment.

Today, the Supreme Court unanimously affirmed the Second Amendment rights of citizens in the case United States v. Hemani, striking down the conviction of Hemani for possession of a firearm while being a marijuana user, and reinforcing that a firearm restriction passes muster only if consistent with the Amendment's text, history, and tradition.
