Hi guys Some really sad news came yesterday, and I think you have to know about them Two years in a row (in fact, even more) I've been visiting a local zoo in Crimea and shared highlights of the inhabitants of this place. If you want a reminder, here's two links to posts I've made in 2022 and 2023 So, yesterday the zoo was caught on fire and all of the little fellows died in that fire. You can find more info about it here (it's on russian, yet if you don't understand it you can always translate the post) Except for primates there have been dozens of other animals, parrots, crocodiles, capybara and so on. And yes, this is a really huge tragedy. Sadly, there's no news from the owner of the place, two things I do know about it, is that no one has survived, except for two bears living outside in the separated aviary and that preliminary cause of the fire is short circuit failure, at least that's what the Investigative Committee says.
