A narrative has emerged over the past couple years that metals will rise when the fed pivots and cuts rates.
The problem with this narrative is that Silver and gold have done very well during periods of falling rates as well as rising rates; notably during the 1970's (rates up + metals up) and following the 2008 GFC (rates down + metals up).
