Mora si conferma bestia inarrestabile e praticamente in grado di vendere qualsiasi cosa. Una semplicità nell'esecuzione di scene complesse da fare spavento - non a caso sarà lui a segnare la linea per il futuro in casa DC, ormai è chiaro. Waid ha poco spazio per sfruttare a dovere il cast (praticamente infinito) a sua disposizione ma riesce a sfiziarsi con qualcuno in particolare. Nightwing, Dreamer, Superman, Aquaman, Freccia Verde e la Waller sono i più interessanti al momento.

I primi due numeri di Absolute Power fanno assolutamente ciò che dovrebbero fare tutti i grandi eventi: chiudere sottotrame sparse su varie testate e alzare immediatamente la posta in gioco con esplosioni, azione e intensità da invidiare. Waid e Mora non hanno paura di sporcarsi le mani. Sebbene il casus belli dell'intero conflitto sia un po' deboluccio, il messaggio è chiaro e preciso.

C'è giusto una idea interessante ma se non avessimo passato gli ultimi cinque anni a vedere il simbionte attaccarsi a qualsiasi essere vivente nell'universo Marvel sarebbe stato molto più efficace.

Se tra 4 o 5 mesi sento qualcuno di voi elogiare questa immondizia vi aspetto al varco. Tonalmente fuori da qualsiasi canone, una storia che al secondo numero fa già buchi da tutte le parti, l'ennesimo futuro/passato distopico (ora con più fasci!), un protagonista altamente improponibile e tutto fuorché empatico. Spider-Man Reign II era un'idea già sbagliata all annuncio.

Ho letto Spider-Man Black Suit & Blood #1 solo perché mi era stato promesso Dustin Nguyen nel primo numero. Sono stato accontentato.

Samnee riesce a rendere interessante anche Venom. Mai visto una soluzione visiva tale e mi fa impazzire.
