USDT capitalization based on TON exceeded $500 mln
The total supply of Tether (USDT) stablecoin in The Open Network has exceeded $500 million. This figure reached about $519 million. This result was achieved in less than 2 months after the management of the stablecoin issuer announced its launch on the blockchain. In addition, the digital currency XAUT, backed by physical gold, also appeared in the network.
"The demand for USDT-TON is growing, and it's not surprising," The Open Network reported in its official Telegram channel. "The ability to send digital dollars to whomever and whenever you want as easily as a text message is a pragmatic real-world use case."
Earlier this month, the total blockchain value in applications on the TON blockchain exceeded $600 million. Tether's trading volume on Tron has surpassed Visa's transaction volume
It has been reported that the 24-hour trading volume of Tether (USDT) on Tron has exceeded $53 billion, a figure that exceeds Visa's average daily transaction volume of $42 billion for the first quarter of 2024.
Currently, there are 59 billion USDT stablecoins issued on the Tron network, and the number of wallets equals 45,546,883 unique addresses.
The top ten holders account for 27.57% of the total number of steiblcoins on the network, while holders in the 11th through 50th places account for 6.14%. The 45.54 million TRC20-based Tether holders far outnumber the 5,724,266 ERC20-based Tether holders.

BNB Chain has reduced commissions by 90% thanks to BEP 336
The BNB Chain ecosystem has activated the BEP 336 Haber hardfork, which has reduced transaction fees for L2 solutions by 90% compared to current levels.
The update introduces BLOB objects capable of capturing large amounts of data, up to 128KB each, into the network. Instead of inspecting each transaction within a block individually, the network will only inspect the data within the attached BLOB.
The temporary storage mechanism provides a compact and uncluttered blockchain network, improving overall network performance.

Circle announces Solana programmable wallets and a refueling station
The integration will take place in two phases. According to the announcement, the first phase will focus on programmable wallets that allow developers to automatically manage assets based on predefined rules, as well as sponsored transaction fees through the refueling feature.
The second phase will include support for non-replaceable tokens (NFTs) and programmatic interoperability through a smart contract platform, Circle said. The move will bring Solana together with other blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon and Avalanche, which are already supported by Circle's Web3 services.
Programmable wallets can be configured to automatically interact with smart contracts. This means that tasks that would normally require manual execution, such as making transactions when certain conditions are met, can be automated.

BNB Chain remains the leader of the Web3 Gaming sector
FootPrint experts have reported on the state of the blockchain gaming sector (Web3 Gaming). They noted that in May they recorded activity in 1,525 games on various chains. At the same time, BNB Chain, Polygon and Ethereum led the way with market share figures of 23.3%, 19.7% and 15.7% respectively.

Telegram launches digital payment system Telegram Stars
Telegram users will be able to pay for digital goods and services in the social messenger ecosystem with the new Stars token.
The Stars token is in line with Apple and Google's digital product sales policy and can be purchased via in-app purchases in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store or via the PremiumBot bot.

Tether has become the largest stablecoin on Polygon
In the year, the market capitalization of stablecoins exceeded $161 billion. The leading position continues to be held by Tether (USDT), whose supply in May exceeded $112 billion.

TRON is the leader in the number of daily active addresses
Researchers at IntoTheBlock have published an infographic describing the blockchains with the largest number of daily active addresses. According to analysts, TRON (TRX) became the leader with 2.26 million unique wallets.
This significantly exceeds the results of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), which have 564.25 thousand and 501.63 thousand active addresses, respectively. The honorable 4th place went to Litecoin (LTC) with 357.26 thousand, followed by Dogecoin (DOGE) with only 56.98 thousand.
