HOLIDAY HOMEWORK CLASS VIII NOTE - MAKE A SEPERATE NOTEBOOK FOR HOLIDAY HOMEWORK MATHEMATICS 1) Practice the chapters done in class. (Do minimum 30 sums daily) 2) Learn tables 2 to 30 3) Learn and write all type of numbers with examples. 4) Prepare a file of formulae from your book (write all formulae from your book) SCIENCE 1) Prepare a detailed report of any crop or domestic animal (name, scientific name, category, gender, photo , etc) 2) Read and write the chapters done in class 3) Draw a diagram on a chart paper from your book. 4) Write in your copy what things and facilities must be necessary in school for students according to you. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE 1) Read the newspaper daily and paste some news in your copies. 2) Learn chapter 1 to 10 of your book. 3) Prepare a Central Cabinet Ministers' list of India. 4) Prepare a State Cabinet Ministers' list of Uttar Pradesh COMPUTER 1)Using internet (Google search engine) or from newspaper magazines find out the name of various memory storage devices and paste their photographs in your school computer notebook . Write the name of various types of storage devices ( primary or secondary) and storage capacity in your computer notebook. Learn and write chapter 1 in your computer notebook. SOCIAL STUDIES 1) HISTORY - Prepare a project on India gate and Gateway of India under the following headings - a) Location, Architectural style,Functions and relevance today. 2) GEOGRAPHY - Write a paragraph in your notebook about how to control the reckless use of water in order to save it for our future generation? Suggest some measures to reduce global warming. 3) CIVICS - Make a project in a file on the Fundamental Rights of Indian Constitution. Learn all the chapters done in class also,read the chapters from the book. ENGLISH LITERATURE 1) Do 1 page writing daily (date wise) in your notebook. 2)Write the summary of the chapter 'THE INVISIBLE MAN" 3)Find out 20 words from the poem 'Somebodys' Mother'.Write and learn their meaning. 4) Learn all the work done in class SANSKRIT 1)व्यायाम करने के क्या फ़यादे होते है 2)पाठ में दिए गए वैवाहिक शब्दो के संबंधो के नाम संस्कृत में लिखे तथा याद करें 3)सूर्य से संचालित यंत्र और उपकारणों का चित्र बनाकर उनके उपयोग लिखें 4)हमारे जीवन में अनुशासन क्यों आवश्यक है लिखिये HINDI LANGUAGE 1)भाषा हमारे जीवन की अनिवार्य आवश्यकता है इसपर अपने विचार व्यक्त करें। 2)पाठ में दिए गए विलोम शब्द,पर्यायवाची शब्द,अनेकार्थी शब्द,वाक्यांश के लिए एक शब्द मुहावरे तथा लोकोक्तियाँ याद कीजिए HINDI LITERATURE 1)यदि आप स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के पहले पैदा हुए होते तो देश के लिए क्या करते? 2)यदि आप आगे चलकर डॉक्टर बन जाते हैं तो आप समाज के लिए किस प्रकार सेवा करेंगे? 3)विभिन्न प्रकार के बीमारियों के नाम उनके फैलने का कlरण , रोकने के उपाय तथा उपचार की ऐसी विधि बनाइये। 4)"माँ का प्यार" एक विषय पर एक अनुछेद लिखे 5) प्रतिदिन 1 पृष्ठ हिंदी का सुलेख कीजिये। ENGLISH LANGUAGE 1) Learn and write tenses 2) Write an essay on benefits of yoga ( 200 words) 3) Write and learn the definition of Noun and it's types with examples , Adjective ,pronoun and adverb. 4)Write a letter to your friend encouraging him to plant more trees 🎄 also explain the importance of trees in our lives. 5)Practice cursive writing daily 1 page. Note - It is mandatory for all the students to complete the Holiday Homework. The Principal
