How airplanes fly
If flying paper airplanes through smoke, we may notice not so great contrasts with their big brothers furrowing the expanse of the sky above our heads✈️
All airplanes fly due to pressure gaps between the upper and lower surfaces of the wing with higher air pressure from below the wing.
Therefore, when the higher pressure air from below the wing "flows" over the edge of the wing to the upper wing surface, an air "whirlpool" or vortex occurs. Hence why the vortices swirl upward and toward the center of the airplane, and also why airplanes feature little wings or winglets at the ends of the wings.
They increase the effective wingspan by reducing the drag created by the vortex coming off the end of the wing and, as a result, increase the lift at the end of the wing.

☝🏻 That’s right to breathe through your nose, not mouth
Breathing through the nose heats the air and cleanses it of harmful germs, which is not the case when breathing through the mouth.
The mouth lets the cold and polluted air go straight to your lungs.

The Weissenberg Effect
An effect that is typical of some non-Newtonian fluids, such as liquid polymer solutions. Instead of being thrown outward, the chain of polymers is wound around the rod.

Natural calcium carbonate — CaCO3😍
Calcium carbonate is an inorganic chemical compound, a salt of carbonic acid and calcium.
It is used as a white food coloring E170. As the base of chalk, it is used for writing on blackboards. Also, it’s utilized at home for whitewashing ceilings, painting tree trunks, for alkalizing soil in gardening.

The Rehbinder effect
In physics, it is the reduction in the hardness and ductility of a material, particularly metals, by a surfactant film
The following conditions are needed for the Rehbinder effect to occur:
- Contact of a solid body with a liquid medium
- The presence of tensile stresses

👆🏻 How white blood cells move through the blood in search of pathogens for immune protection.
Normally, our immune system is incredibly strong and can protect us from so many viruses and bacteria
1 134
It happens in our bodies on a second by second basis.
The protective cell, the phagocyte, absorbs and digests the bacteria alive.

Japanese Model T robot's first sample
Remote VR control of robots could become an alternative to daily commutes and even labor migration to other countries. Japanese startup Telexistence showed how a Model T bot could be used to work remotely in a grocery store.
A human operator controls the robot from home using a VR helmet and controllers.

Dispersion of Light
This is a set of phenomena caused by the dependence of the absolute index of refraction of matter on the frequency (or wavelength) of light (frequency dispersion), or, similarly, the dependence of the phase velocity of light in matter on the frequency (or wavelength).

Ascorbic acid in polarized light 🔬
If you wish to live longer and look younger in the meantime. Besides all its health benefits, ascorbic acid (or vitamin C) also promotes the production of collagen, thereby slowing down the aging process of the skin.

Chimpanzees Have Better Visual Memory Than Humans
Thus, it's quite easy to teach it to count to 10 and to press buttons on the phone, even for the likes (that is, without any real material reward).
Doesn't it remind you of anyone?
After all, memory is an amazing thing, capable of incredible deeds. It's like a Ferrari. You can race it, win races, if you train properly. Yet, unfortunately, most people have their Ferrari just sitting idle in the garage, sometimes just going out for bread.
Do you remember what your loved ones wore yesterday and what the license plate number of the neighboring car in the parking lot where you leave your car? Many, by the way, do not even remember the license plate number of their car!

Melanite
(black andradite garnet)
🧪Ca3Fe2Si3O12
Melanite is a kind of andradite garnet rich in titanium impurities. For many people it is a "revelation" that garnets are not only red. But just andradite can be green, yellow, brown, and even black.

T cell killers destroy a cancer cell
T-killers, or cytotoxic T lymphocytes, are white blood cells that specialize in attacking viruses and tumor cells. There are about five million of them in one teaspoon of blood!
