No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve,

| 6 | Aus bin Aus رضى الله عنه narrated that
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Among the best of your days is Friday; so supplicate Allāh more often for me in it, for your supplications will be displayed to me."

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَتَهُۥ یُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِیِّۚ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَیۡهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسۡلِیمًا
[Al-Ahzāb, Ayah 56] | 439 |
| 7 | Abu Ayyub Al-Ansāri رضى الله عنه narrated that The Messenger ﷺ said:
"Whoever fasts during the month of Ramadhān and then follows it with six days of Shawwāl will be (rewarded) as if he had fasted the entire year."

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.

Zakāh al-Fiṭr 1444/2023
Narrated by Ibn Umar may Allāh be pleased with him, the Messenger ﷺ ordered for the payment of one Ṣā’* of dates or one Ṣā’ of barley as Zakāh al-Fiṭr on every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the ‘Īd prayer. [Bukhārī and Muslim]

Taalib is providing a service to the community by collecting and distributing the Zakāh al-Fiṭr.
The contributions will be used to purchase/distribute rice in Nigeria before Ṣalāh al-‘Īd is established in the UK (20th / 21st April) InshāAllah.
The cost of rice equivalent to one Ṣā’ is £3 including transaction charges.
Any surplus monies will be given as sadaqah there.

*Our Support For Pakistan*
33 million people have been affected by the floods and 1/3 of the country is underwater.
In light of the catastrophic damages caused by the floods, we have taken the initiative to do our part in assisting the countless vulnerable people who have been left without basic necessities.
A trusted brother will be travelling to Pakistan within the next week inshāAllah to give much needed aid; medication, food, water and sanitary products as required from personal funds.
We are aware many people desire to assist and are searching for a reliable medium, hence anyone who wishes to help may do so via the details provided below.
We are not a charity and are only offering a means through which the community can contribute. 100% of the funds collected will be used to assist those affected. Unfortunately, many organisations profit from such calamities and as such support is being given on the ground by hand.

Reflect, oh sister. If the most powerful of nations, with what they possess of weapons of destruction and reasons for conflict, can come to the table in order to negotiate for the betterment of their people, then what about a small family responsible for protecting their young children, who are in more need of the two heads of the family: the mother and father?!

And the life of this world is nothing but play and amusement. But far better is the house in the Hereafter for those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). Will you not then understand?
