فضل صيام شهر المحرم بِسمِ اللهِ الرَّحمنِ الرَّحيمِ الحمدُ للهِ وحده، وصلَّى الله وسلَّم على مَن لا نبي بعدهُ، أمَّا بعد: فإنَّ صيامَ شهر الله المحرَّم مِن أفضل أنواع صوم التَّطوع؛ لحديثِ أبي هريرة -رضي الله عنه- قالَ: قالَ رسولُ الله -صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم-: «أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ» رواه مسلم، والمعنى: أفضلُ صيام الشُّهور -سوى رمضان- صيامُ شهر الله المحرَّم، وهذا يقتضي استحباب صيام الشَّهر كلّه. ومِن فضل هذا الشَّهر أنَّه أحدُ الأشهر الحُرم، ولكنَّ اليوم العاشر منه له فضيلة خاصة؛ لما ورد في السُّنَّة مِن التَّرغيب في صيام عاشوراء، وهو العاشر مِن هذا الشَّهر، ومنه قوله -صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم- لَّما سُئل عن صيام يوم عاشوراء قال: «أحتسِبُ على اللهِ أنْ يُكفِّرَ السَّنةَ الماضيةَ» رواه مسلم. فينبغي للرَّاغبين في الخيرِ والأجرِ أن يصوموا هذا الشَّهر كلّه أو ما تيسَّرَ منه، كما قيل: ما لا يُدركُ كلُّه لا يُتركُ كلُّه، وأقلُّ ذلك التَّاسعُ والعاشرُ، أو العاشرُ فقط. وليعلم المسلم أنَّ نوافلَ الطَّاعات أبوابٌ مِن أبواب الخير فتحها اللهُ لعباده ليتزوَّدوا  مِن الأعمال الصَّالحة التي تُقرِّبهم إلى الله، وتُبلِّغهم رضاه، وتُنزِّلهم جنَّته بإذن الله، وقد أمرَ الله بالمسارعة والمسابقة إلى الخيرات، قال تعالى: {فَاسْتَبِقُواْ الْخَيْرَاتِ}، وأعظمُ ذلك مغفرةُ الله وجنَّتُه، قال تعالى: {وَسَارِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَغۡفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرۡضُهَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ} [آل عمران: 133]، وميدانُ السّباق هذه الحياة؛ فحقيقٌ بالمسلمِ الموفَّق اغتنامُ حياتهِ فيما ينالُ به الدَّرجات العاليات، وذلك فضلُ الله يؤتيه مَن يشاء، والله ذو الفضل العظيم. وصلَّى الله وسلَّم على نبيِّنا محمَّد .   أملاه: عبد الرحمن بن ناصر البراك حرر في يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 4 محرم 1441 هـ
