Today I was interviewed by a news channel in the PMR which will be broadcast on this evenings news at 8pm (local time).

The centre of Tiraspol in the PMR is preparing for the Victory Day celebrations

In the build up to Victory Day I’ve been visiting various soviet war memorials in the PMR. We should never forget the sacrifice that the soviet people made to defeat the Nazis.

I managed to visit the beautiful Novo-Nyametsky Monastery ☦️in the PMR earlier today.
Russians, Ukrainians and Moldovans live peacefully here and have done for many years without western interference.
I truly hope that war in this region can be avoided.
