No-one who advocates support for Zelensky's Ukraine, which hero worships genocidal neo-Nazis like Stepan Bandera, has the right to prance around the D-Day cemeteries today celebrating a "victory over fascism" which was only won thanks to the Russian people. Bandera was directly responsible for the brutal massacre of hundreds of thousands of Russians, Poles, Jews and Hungarians. His followers today form the backbone of the Ukrainian/Nato army, and from 2014 to 2022 committed the daily ethnic cleansing atrocities against Russian-speaking civilians in the Donbass which finally provoked the current war. To use D-Day as an excuse to promote militarism and confrontation against Russia is utterly despicable. Revolting coverage of the D-Day anniversary headlines in tomorrow's papers on Sky and the BBC tonight. 1. They all talk about "the people who landed on the beaches". Fuck off, they were MEN. 2. I worked with veterans of D-Day in the National Front, and, like their comrades of all parties and none, they were fine and brave men. But the Western Front was a sideshow in the last frstricidal war. As usual, of course, the politicians and the editors all busy stoking the fires of war, safe in the knowledge that they won't be sent to the front.
