🗓️ SAVE THE DATE Creative Mornings: Curate (cu-rate) with Zigzag Collective Friday, June 26th at 8am 📍@weigh_station — Via dei Portici 19A Laubengasse, Bolzano Bozen The breakfast will be hosted in the @waagcafe in the ‘Aquarium’ space In this new June #CreativeMorning breakfast lecture, we’ll explore the global theme of Curate, with our hosts Zigzag collective that approaches ‘’Curate’’ as an active practice of transforming and reclaiming reality through the practice of hacking everyday objects ZIGZAG offers, in stark contrast, an anti-ableist and participatory perspective capable of challenging dominant representations of bodies and intimacy. Through DIY practices and the hacking of everyday objects, the collective explores how it is possible to construct tools, imaginaries and narratives that are accessible and attuned to the complexity of contemporary bodily experiences. For Zigzag, curating means rethinking imposed narratives to create new ones and build spaces that can truly represent us. As part of Creative Mornings, the Zigzag collective will lead a participatory workshop on the body, pleasure and the reappropriation of everyday objects. The aim is to transform everyday objects into tools for self-determination, through the practice of hacking and speculative design. The workshop will be held from 17.30 to 19.30 on Friday. Take an hour for you before you start your work: we provide the coffee and creative inspiration. See you there!

Starting with a collective reflection and mapping exercises, participants will be guided through a co-design process to imagine, through speculative objects, new relationships between the body and objects.

In questo appuntamento proveremo a rispondere a queste domande attraverso l’ascolto condiviso e il dialogo. I beni collettivi sono sempre stati spazi di trasmissione di saperi, pratiche e forme di collaborazione: un patrimonio vivo che continua a interrogarci.
