Statement: An attack on Abu Qu'oud was repelled and heavy losses were inflicted on the SAF
MEDIA STATEMENT
Earlier this Friday, the valiant and heroic forces of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) achieved a major victory over the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), which operates under the terrorist Islamic Movement and their mercenary allies, after repelling their failed attack on the Abu Qu'oud area, west of the city of El Obeid.
Our heroic forces inflicted heavy losses in personnel and equipment on the Islamic Movement’s army and pursued its remnants as they fled in disarray, dragging their tails of defeat and humiliation. Our forces also seized large quantities of weapons and ammunition, which are currently being inventoried.
Our forces affirm that ongoing military operations are proceeding at a measured and steady steps until the complete liberation of the entire homeland is achieved, the Sudanese people are freed from the army of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, and Sudan is rebuilt on new and just foundations that eradicate injustice and marginalization affecting all the peoples of Sudan.

وألحق أشاوس قواتنا الأبطال بجيش الحركة الإسلامية خسائر فادحة في الأرواح والعتاد، وطاردوا فلوله التي لاذت بالفرار مجررةً أذيال الخيبة والهزيمة، فيما تمكنت قواتنا من الاستيلاء على كميات كبيرة من الأسلحة والذخائر - يجري حصرها.
وتؤكد قواتنا أن العمليات العسكرية المتقدمة تمضي بخطى مدروسة وثابتة حتى إكمال تحرير كامل تراب الوطن، وتخليص السودانيين من جيش جماعة الإخوان المسلمين الإرهابية، وإعادة تأسيس السودان على أسس جديدة عادلة ترفع الظلم والتهميش عن جميع الشعوب السودانية.
