Of course American normies are seduced by characters like Putin, his “trad Russia”, and all the propaganda behind it. What’s going on in Eastern Europe isn’t in our backyard, it isn’t anywhere near us. Most Americans don’t even know how bad things actually are south of the US border. I’m baffled at how anyone expects American normies to know what’s going on everywhere else in the world. That’s another reason why I think it’s time for the USA to retire from its position as the Western hegemon. Europe can deal with Russia without the USA.
