You've seen the gospel being preached on the timelines: "Learn UI/UX, learn copywriting, learn AI in 2025, and earn 50 KamaZillion dollars every 2 seconds!" It's a seductive promise. So you buy the course. You burn the midnight oil. You learn the skill. You are now a certified, bonafide, Grade A specialist. Congratulations. But then... silence. Crickets. Because here is the raw, unfiltered truth they conveniently left out of the shiny sales page: Learning the skill is the easy part. The real 'work', the main koko, is not in mastering the craft. It's in mastering the market. (Read that again). It's in understanding how to locate the people, the businesses, and the problems that require your skill and are willing to pay top dollar for it. It's about finding the DEMAND. Now, I could break down the science of client acquisition in a masterclass that would rewire your entire financial destiny. (And yes, I will sell course o... at least not today. Unless you have my 10 KamaZillion ready, which, let's be fair, is pocket change compared to the value I'd deliver. You know the vibes.) But let's focus on the tragedy I see every day. The old world was simple: Company has a problem (demand), they post a job, you apply. A clear Hub of Demand. The new world, the freelance and remote tech space, has flipped the script in the most dangerous way. What you have now are not hubs of demand, but HUBS OF SUPPLY. Think about it. Your portfolio website, your Upwork profile, your Fiverr gig... what are they? They are platforms where you and a million other talented people line up, display your wares, and scream, "I'm great! Look at my skills! Pick me! Please, pick me!" You've been herded into a giant digital marketplace where everyone is a seller. You upload your life's work and you... HOPE. Sasdly, hope is not a business strategy. You are playing in a Hub of Supply, praying for a stray buyer to notice you. It's a game of chance, a race to the bottom on price, and a drain on your soul. Your focus is wrong. The question is not "How can I showcase my skill better?" The real question, the one that holds the keys to the kingdom, is this: "Where are the HUBS OF DEMAND for my skill?" Where are the conversations happening? Where are the problems being lamented? Where are the people with money and a desperate need, who aren't leisurely scrolling through a freelancer platform? A new week with 6 billion people moving to and fro, and a large fraction of people don't even know why. This week, stop and ask yourself one of the most important questions you can ever ask yourself. "Wwwwhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy" (Hear this in my voice) Why do you want to travel out? Why do you want to get another degree? Why are you still in that job? Why can't you pivot to something else? Why are you renewing your rent in that 'useless' neighborhood? Why are you still in that relationship? Why are you at all the parties every weekend? Of what use are you alive if you don't know why? A man alive without the knowledge of 'why' is not different from a dead man. Time is counting, is your life doing the same?

Well, so technically, I'm not so inclined to the 'course of study'; racism , I'm jsut saying, if you study here, and perhaps the opportunities are not concentrated in this region, within your 4 years, don't just study.....investigate pathways that can land you in the geopgraphical spaces of advantage... Your four years in that university, especially if it's in a region of disadvantage, is a 4-year incubation period to build a catapult that will launch you into a space of advantage. So while your mates are studying to pass, you are studying to POSITION. I'll give you a game plan Year 1: The Diagnosis and The Destination. You ask yourself, "Where am I?" (Geographic disadvantage). Then you ask, "Where is the honey pot? Where are the opportunities concentrated?" You identify the fellowships: the Mandela Washingtons, the Chevenings, the Knight-Hennessys. You identify the global companies. That's your destination. You write it down. Year 2 & 3: Building The War Chest. This is where the real work begins. You look at the requirements for those elite fellowships and scholarships. What do they want? "Leadership potential?" "Community impact?" "A track record of service?" Aha! So you design your activities to build this exact profile. While your mates are going for parties, you are going for ENACTUS meetings. While they are sleeping, you are organizing a community sanitation project. You set a goal: "I will lead or participate in 50 high-impact voluntary projects before I graduate." Your mates will look at you and say, "Why is this one stressing himself? All this for free?" They won't understand. They can't. They are playing checkers, you are playing chess, remember? You are building what I call a Portfolio of Intent. Every project is a deliberate brick in the palace of your future. Year 4: The Application Weapon. Now, it's final year. The applications are open. Your mates are struggling to write a compelling story. They have a good CGPA and nothing else. But you? You open your war chest. You pull out your Portfolio of Intent. • Project Lead, 'Clean Water for Umuahia' - impacted 5,000 lives. • Founder, 'Code for Kids' campus club - taught 200 children basic programming. • Volunteer Coordinator, National Food Drive - distributed 10,000 meals. You line up 50 of these. Your application is no longer an application; it's a weapon. It's an irresistible force. The selection committee doesn't have a choice. Your profile is not just good; it's tailor-made. It's what they were looking for. This is why school mates are not life mates. One is thinking about the next semester's result; you are thinking four years ahead. You are making moves on a board they don't even know they are on. The whole game is INTENTIONALITY. It's about designing the optimal path for your life and then executing with ruthless discipline. So stop seeing school as just a place to get a degree. See it as your 4-year, fully-funded strategic base to build the vehicle that takes you to your destiny. Design the game plan of your life. And play it like chess. Some cities give you amplification, others drain your energy. If you’re a fish, don’t live in the desert. What is the silicon valley equivalent of your field? Find where the opportunities in your field are concentrated, and go and plant yourself close, or at least, plan to.

Follow this carefully, it's a formula to raising your income. Always build where you have an advantage

So, July has packed its bags and gone. What have you achieved thus far. It’s easy to say “Thank God for life." or “at least, I am alive” And that's great o. But we need to have a serious conversation. Are you genuinely grateful for the gift of life, or are you just using "Thank God, at least I am alive” as a beautiful, spiritual duvet to cover your inability to face the work needed to change your life? Yes, life is a gift. But is your current situation the premium version of the life God planned for you, or are you stuck on the freemium plan with ads? Well, how can you even know what God's blueprint is when your own daily blueprint is to scroll from one Instagram page to another, tapping "God when" on other people's success stories? Remember the parable of talents, the guy who buried his own didn't get a medal for participation. The Oga at the top expects a return on His investment. Don't let Him audit your life's account and find you running at a loss. This month, declare a state of emergency on your life, and be really serious about it, not the one you and your ex are doing…..going back and forth 👀 Listen to me. 90 days. Just 90 days of ‘madness’ can change your entire trajectory. What does this look like? First, get off social media. Your destiny is not hiding in the comment section. Are you jobless? Start applying for 20 jobs a day. Let them think your village people are sponsoring your data. Flood their inboxes with value. Are you broke? Invest 5 hours daily learning a high income skill. Go so deep you become the person they call when the "gurus" are confused. Looking for clients? Send out 40 cold emails a day. Make them know you exist. Need to find your destiny helper? Attend 20 networking events, and I don't mean the ones where your main goal is to attack the small chops and puff puff. No. Go there with a mission: to find your tribe and connect with destiny helpers. Need to upgrade the quality of your thoughts? Read 20 books. For goodness sake, read! Your brain is a high performance engine that requires high quality fuel. This entire process is what I call a period of strategic, prolonged ‘madness.’ It's the kind of crazy, relentless focus that confuses poverty. So yes, get angry. Get angry at your comfort zone. Get tired of being average. Let that anger fuel your ambition. You see, life is not as stubborn as you think. It's a bully that respects pressure. When you persist, when you refuse to back down with focused action, it will bend. It must bend. You are too young and too gifted to be mediocre, to add 'insult to injury', you have come in contact with me, and you want to remain average. How dare you? ehn... How dare you? It's already too late, you can't turn back. YOU MUST BE GREAT. And I will marshall you into that GREATNESS Now go and do the work.
