If I got a dollar for every time someone asked me how I made my first million, I would have retired to Banana Island by now. But here’s what I’ve noticed. When people ask, “How did you do it?” that’s not the real question. What they are really asking is: “How can I also do it?” “How can I do it young?” And honestly, that question doesn’t have a one size fits all answer. Meanwhile, my head is buzzing with questions I wish I could ask them first. Does this person already have the right financial mindset? Do they have a skill that is not just average, but excellent? Is that skill scalable, does it have asymmetry? Do they even have the right networks? Are they in the right location to fully maximize their gifts? Are they playing in the most profitable part of their industry? And most importantly, what is their leverage point? But of course, many people are expecting me to just say: “Try forex.” “Buy crypto.” “Invest in real estate.” And while those things can work, the truth is, it is deeper than that. Lack of money is not the real issue. Lack of money is just the symptom. The real issue is poverty. And poverty is not the absence of cash. Poverty is deeper. I've never accepted a podcast invitation in my life. Not all businesses are highly scalable. Some might look like they are going to , however it would get to a point where the income for that business becomes capped.
