Did Hitler Believe in God?
(2 of 2)
“The song of the nightingale, the pattern and color of a flower, continually brought him back to the great problems of creation. No one in the world has spoken to me so eloquently about the existence of God. He held this view not because he was brought up as a Christian, but because his analytical mind bound him to the concept of God.
Hitler’s faith transcended formulas and contingencies. God was for him the basis of everything, the ordainer of all things, of his destiny and that of all others.” — from The Enigma of Adolf Hitler by Leon Degrelle

Did Hitler Believe in God?
(1 of 2)
“He believed deeply in God. He called God the Almighty, master of all that is known and unknown. Propagandists portrayed Hitler as an atheist. He was not.
He had contempt for hypocritical and materialistic clerics, but he was not alone in that. He believed in the necessity of standards and theological dogmas, without which, he repeatedly said, the great institution of the Christian church would collapse.
These dogmas clashed with his intelligence, but he also recognized that it was hard for the human mind to encompass all the problems of creation, its limitless scope and breathtaking beauty. He acknowledged that every human being has spiritual needs.” — from The Enigma of Adolf Hitler by Leon Degrelle

Two Different Paths in Life
(2 of 2)
“As an ordinary soldier I tried to do my duty in the face of the enemy during these four years, and naturally returned home from the war as impoverished as I had entered it in the fall of 1914.
I shared the fate of millions. Mr. Franklin Roosevelt shared his with the so-called upper ten thousand. While Mr. Roosevelt after the war was already trying his hand at financial speculation, I was still lying in a hospital."
— Adolf Hitler, from his speech to the Reichstag and German nation on December 11, 1941

Two Different Paths in Life
(1 of 2)
“Roosevelt comes from a super-rich family, belonging from the start to that class of people whose birth and background pave the way to advancement in a democracy. I myself was just the child of a small and poor family, and had to struggle through life through toilsome work and by personal industry.
When the World War came, Roosevelt found a spot in the shade under [President] Wilson and experienced the war from the sphere of those who reaped dividends from it. He therefore knew only the pleasant consequences of the clash of nations and states; those that provide opportunity for one to do business while another bleeds.”

One Struggle
“Late in 1940, the Waffen SS established its first division incorporating Germanic volunteers. Flemish and Dutch enrolled in the Westland regiment, while Nordland recruited Norwegians and Danes.
Joined by the seasoned VT regiment Germania, these formations merged into the 5th Waffen SS division Wiking (Viking).
Hausser later observed, ‘They thought beyond the boundaries of their national states
toward something greater, a common purpose.’
A post-war poll of surviving Dutch SS men summarized that ‘the better educated were fascinated by the Reich concept, with its prospect of the consolidation of all Germanic peoples.’”

“With army approval, the SS established a military academy to train Availability Troop (Verfügungstruppe) officers at Bad Tölz in October 1934.
General Paul Hausser, who had retired from the army in 1932, received a commission to found a second school in Brunswick. Each institution offered a ten-month curriculum to commission officers. (p. 247)
The English historian Gerald Reitlinger concluded, ‘Under the influence of Hausser’s cadet schools, the Waffen SS developed the most efficient of all military training systems of the Second World War.’” (p. 252)

Newscaster
It’s funny watching the news, and how the anchors use certain ways to describe Putin, ways that you know damn well they didn’t come up with themselves, but were written by the producers, and they are forced to read from the teleprompter.
I saw the newscaster pause for a fraction of a second, his eyes quickly going back and forth, and I have an idea on what he was thinking in that moment. He was thinking “God, I can’t believe I have to read this shit out loud for public consumption. I never knew selling my soul would be so painful”.
But yet he said it, “Putin is literally Hitler!”
I began laughing. I could hear my neighbor laughing next door. We both left our houses and shook hands outside, all the while laughing maniacally.
“I thought Trump was literally Hitler.”
“Me too!“
“How can they both be Hitler?”
“I don’t know, but it’s hilarious!”
The whole neighborhood came out to join us in maniacal laughter. Even the people driving by were honking their horns maniacally.
What a scene!

P.S. — With Evola, Stallone, and Conti this turned into an Italian themed post, even though that wasn’t my original intention.
