🛕🎉 5 years ago today #BAPSEdison concluded Mandir Mahotsav 2019 with Murti Pratishtha of the New Mandir in the presence of Sadguru Pujya Doctor Swami and Sadguru Pujya Ishwarcharandas Swami. The historic moment was inspired by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s vision that a new mandir be built to accommodate the growing BAPS community in Edison, NJ. Pramukh Swami Maharaj inaugurated the first mandir after the Cultural Festival of India 33 Years Ago in August 1991. In 2007, he gave blessings for a larger mandir to accommodate the growing community in Edison and the state of NJ overall. ON THIS DATE 10 years ago (August 12, 2014), Pramukh Swami Maharaj surprised everyone by visiting #BAPSEdison Mandir one final time and sanctified the land where our current Mandir is. With this visit, Swamishri visited Edison, NJ on each trip since his first visit in 1974. Swamishri came to America in 2014 for the #BAPSRobbinsville Mandir Murti Pratishta and to sanctify the land for Akshardham.
