I'm going through all these photos I have from Sweden. I love this one. My parents & my grandmother. First time my mother met my Farmor, before I was born. This was probably 1983-1984ish.

My great grandfather in 1941, the Swedish army. Although Sweden remained neutral throughout the war, they supplied iron-ore to the German war machine, & they were the only country in Scandinavia that wasn't occupied by either the Germans or the Soviets. 🇸🇪 My other great grandfather worked for Germany in a German factory during the war. He moved back to Sweden at some point, & owned a farm in a smol village called Grillby. My grandparents lived in Grillby until they died. That's where I spent the best summers of my life. The vikings were there once upon a time, because there's several viking burial mounds in the village, & rune carvings on massive stones & boulders within the forests. I spent a lot of time near both.
