*** 1. Colleges are permitted to register students for undergraduate admissions. 2. Priority to be given to CUET candidates; non- CUET admissions only if seats remain vacant. 3. In a significant move, Allahabad University (AU) has granted its 11 constituent colleges the autonomy to register students for undergraduate courses independently. These colleges can now admit students who have taken the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) as well as those who have not, with a priority given to CUET candidates. Non-CUET students will be admitted only if seats remain vacant. 4. The meeting also concluded that if seats remain vacant after admitting CUET candidates, Non-CUET students can also be considered for admission based on criteria set by the individual colleges. This decision is crucial for the colleges, as many seats remained vacant after the introduction of CUET. This new measure provides them with the flexibility to fill seats without any hassle, ensuring that more students can access educational opportunities. 1. कॉलेजों को स्नातक प्रवेश के लिए छात्रों को पंजीकृत करने की अनुमति है। 2. सीयूईटी उम्मीदवारों को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी; गैर-सीयूईटी प्रवेश केवल सीटें खाली रहने पर। 3. एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम में, इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय (एयू) ने अपने 11 घटक कॉलेजों को स्नातक पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए छात्रों को स्वतंत्र रूप से पंजीकृत करने की स्वायत्तता प्रदान की है। ये कॉलेज अब कॉमन यूनिवर्सिटी एंट्रेंस टेस्ट (सीयूईटी) देने वाले छात्रों के साथ-साथ उन छात्रों को भी प्रवेश दे सकते हैं जिन्होंने सीयूईटी उम्मीदवारों को प्राथमिकता दी है। गैर-सीयूईटी छात्रों को सीटें खाली रहने पर ही प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। 4. बैठक में यह भी निष्कर्ष निकाला गया कि यदि सीयूईटी उम्मीदवारों को प्रवेश देने के बाद सीटें खाली रह जाती हैं, तो गैर-सीयूईटी छात्रों को भी व्यक्तिगत कॉलेजों द्वारा निर्धारित मानदंडों के आधार पर प्रवेश के लिए विचार किया जा सकता है। यह निर्णय कॉलेजों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि CUET की शुरुआत के बाद कई सीटें खाली रह गई थीं। यह नया उपाय उन्हें बिना किसी परेशानी के सीटें भरने की सुविधा प्रदान करता है, जिससे यह सुनिश्चित होता है कि अधिक छात्र शैक्षिक अवसरों तक पहुंच सकें।
