🌍 Iran says Israeli envoy’s conduct at UN reflects impunity granted by allies
📌 Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei says that insults by Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations toward a senior UN official were a consequence of the impunity granted to Israel by its international supporters.
In a post on X on Saturday, Baqaei shared a video showing Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon insulting Vanessa Frazier, the UN special representative for children and armed conflict, during a UN session in which she presented a documented report detailing cases of torture and sexual violence against Palestinian children by Israel. “This shameful exhibition of arrogant defiance – against reason, law, morality, and justice – is yet another inevitable result of the absolute impunity bestowed upon an apartheid terrorist regime by its enablers,” Baqaei wrote. The spokesperson said Israel’s “genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people and throughout the region” demonstrated a disregard for international norms and accountability, calling on the international community to take action. “It is long past time for the world to rise and confront this grave, unprecedented threat to peace and humanity,” he said. 📲 @Irna_en

And in response to the continuous violations of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime in southern Lebanon and the merciless killing and displacement of hundreds of thousands of the oppressed people of this land, and failure of the Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from southern Lebanon: We announce that the Strait of Hormuz is now closed to maritime traffic. ❗️Israel escalates southern bombardment, killing scores of Lebanese civilians Israel continues to launch a wave of devastating airstrikes across southern Lebanon today, killing at least 28 people and wounding dozens more despite recent diplomatic agreements. The deadly aerial assault heavily targeted residential areas in the major southern hubs of Nabatieh, Tyre, and Sidon, reducing homes to rubble and overwhelming local rescue teams. The worst of the massacres took place in Nabatieh, where Lebanese Civil Defense officials confirmed 16 fatalities from targeted strikes. In the Sidon (Saida) district town of Qanarit, an Israeli strike killed seven people, including 5 children, and injured 13 others, while a separate attack on the village of Barish in Tyre wiped out four members of a single family, including two children. The latest escalation drives the total death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon to nearly 4,000 since 2 March. Local authorities report that more than 12,000 others have been wounded and over one million residents forcibly displaced by the ongoing Israeli aggression, which continues unabated across the country.

🇮🇱🇱🇧 200 dead and wounded in southern and eastern Lebanon over the past 48 hours Since this morning: 25 dead and 35 wounded in Nabatieh. 7 dead and 20 wounded in Qanaarit. 4 dead in Sohmor. The toll is not final. @SimurghRes

I have to give credit to Jim Goad and his review of Hillbilly Elegy for really getting at the essence, as only a great writer could, of everything I hated about JD Vance from the beginning. Goad authored The Redneck Manifesto all the way back in 1997, so he really was in a unique position to call out Vance on his bullshit. https://www.unz.com/article/vances-hillbilly-elegy-a-dissent-from-personal-experience/

Interesting strategy to convince me that J D Vance is based, but I'm not going to fall for it. When I learned just the basics

🚨🇱🇧 Where Israel's elite armor goes to die — Hezbollah's Imad‑4 fortress holds the line At the heart of Ali al‑Taher hill, overlooking Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, lies a 1‑kilometer underground tunnel complex housing a command center and strategic weapons depots. Known as the Imad‑4 facility, this Hezbollah fortress has become an obsession for the IDF. What happened: 🌏 Israeli forces attempted a night incursion toward the base — the 6th failed attempt since the ceasefire began. 🌏 Hezbollah struck an IDF tank from the elite 52nd Brigade (home to Israel's most advanced armor) roughly 300 meters from the base entrance. 🌏 4 soldiers killed, including Lt. Col. Ben Simhon, commander of the 52nd Battalion. 🌏 The tank remains unrecovered — a rare and humiliating occurrence. In 2006, the IDF would tow damaged vehicles immediately. Today, the battlefield conditions on Ali Taher hill make recovery impossible. Why it matters: 🌏 Hezbollah used an advanced tactic: mounting a MILAN anti‑tank missile warhead on an FPV drone. This is a new evolution in their drone warfare. 🌏 The MILAN is an old French‑German ATGM, typically outdated — but as a drone payload, it's a cost‑effective tank killer. 🌏 The hill is a no‑man's‑land with minimal cover. Defense is conducted from surrounding positions — and Hezbollah is holding. Israel's northern push is not going to plan — and Hezbollah's underground network is proving impenetrable. 👍 Boost us | Chat | @geopolitics_prime

🔻 Hezbollah continues to avenge the martyr Hind Rajab. The terrorist commander of the 52nd Battalion of the "israeli" 401st Armored Brigade, Lt. Col. Dor Gdalia, was killed alongside three other soldiers during an operation executed by Hezbollah in defense of South Lebanon at dawn on Friday. This battalion was responsible for overseeing the terrorist attack of the martyr child Hind Rajab. Gdalia is the fourth commander of this battalion to be killed or wounded since the beginning of the war, as the unit suffered previous casualties during its operations in Gaza. Glory to the martyrs and the resistance, who are not only taking revenge, but are continuously improving it.

✡️🔍 Netanyahu out? Bennett in. Same empire, new face As Netanyahu's grip weakens under corruption trial, cabinet infighting, and failed wars, Naftali Bennett is laying out his vision for the next round of Israeli leadership. 🔴 The Forever Iran Strategy
"We need a long‑term strategy of accelerating the collapse of the regime – not only through kinetic action. I'm talking about economic actions, cyber, overt, covert. 30 different actions." "In the end, this is a battle between Israel's national strength and the national strength of the Iranian regime. And we are stronger."
🔴 Sinwar's Gift
"Do you know what Sinwar's greatest strategic mistake was? That he attacked. Because we were on the path to self‑destruction."
October 7 gave Israel the momentum to mobilize. Bennett intends to seize it. 🔴 Bibi's Millstone
"When you have a minister who stupidly says, 'We're going to nuke Gaza,' you pay a huge international price with zero benefit. And your credit pool empties."
"Netanyahu is incapable of putting Ben‑Gvir in his place because he depends on him."
🔴 Standing Up to White House Naftali Bennett boasted that he rejected the idea of a potential US consulate in Palestine's Jerusalem.
"Jerusalem is the capital of only one state – the State of Israel. I told Biden: 'I must refuse.' It is possible to stand up and say no."
🔴 New War, Same Mask
"I would run things fundamentally different – much faster, higher‑intensity wars, but get them done."
In another quote, he described his plan for Gaza:
"I would isolate areas, apply a full siege, let the citizens out, and trap the terrorists. You define half of Gaza as enemy territory, dry them up, and essentially smoke them out of the tunnels."
Bennett says Netanyahu is chaotic, dependent on extremists, and incapable of managing Israel's global standing. His solution? A faster, higher‑intensity war machine – with better PR and less Ben‑Gvir. 👍 Boost us | Chat | @geopolitics_prime

🇮🇱⚔️🇱🇧 Israel Used White Phosphorus in Lebanon, Now No One Can Go Home Displaced Lebanese cannot return to southern Lebanon because of Israel's documented use of white phosphorus in the villages of Nabatieh, Tyre, Khiam, and Yohmor. With fresh evacuation orders and over 1 million people displaced, residents of southern Lebanon have nowhere to go. As Israel issued new evacuation orders this week for residents of 12 towns and villages in southern Lebanon and followed them with fresh airstrikes, concerns are growing that conditions are being created to prevent displaced civilians from returning to their homes. Beyond the destruction caused by ongoing military operations, large areas of southern Lebanon remain contaminated by white phosphorus, a substance that poses severe health and environmental risks long after fighting ends. Israel has effectively prevented many residents of southern Lebanon from returning to their homes by saturating large areas with white phosphorus, leaving behind a serious health risk, as well as long-lasting environmental contamination. White phosphorus spontaneously ignites on contact with air and is exceptionally difficult to extinguish. When the shell bursts in the air, it scatters 116 white phosphorus-filled pieces over a wide area, where they fall and burn wherever they land. According to the World Health Organization, contact with flesh causes severe burns. Inhaling the smoke causes respiratory and eye injuries. "It inflicts burns that can penetrate to the bone. Wounds can reignite when bandages are removed, and remnants of the substance are exposed to oxygen." Human Rights Watch separately verified and geolocated eight images showing airburst white phosphorus munitions over residential parts of Yohmor on March 3, with civil defense workers responding to fires in at least two homes and one car. In the year following the October 7 attacks alone, independent researcher Ahmad Beydoun documented white phosphorus sightings in Lebanon more than 200 times. Israel uses American-made 155-millimeter M825A1 artillery projectiles and denies deploying the substance in violation of the laws of war. More than 1 million Lebanese, nearly one-fifth of the country’s entire population, remain displaced. 🔗 https://clashreport.com/world/articles/israel-used-white-phosphorus-in-lebanon-now-no-one-can-go-home-vdhpkgllydr

47 civilians is a massacre equal to over four times the number killed in the Tree of Life shooting (and none of those killed in the synagogue were children, unlike many if not most of the Lebanese). Imagine if a massacre of Jews on this scale was committed this morning, how we would hear about it in the media! Yet the headlines describe this as: "Fighting in Lebanon" (NYT) "Israel Intensifies Strikes in Southern Lebanon" (NBC) "Israel and Hezbollah Trade Deadly Attacks" (The Guardian) "Lebanon Clashes Worsen" (Bloomberg) Yes, Israel and Hezbollah are fighting. Only Hezbollah is killing uniformed IDF troops in combat, while Israel is carpet bombing civilians in residential areas. What Ben Gvir said about 1,000 Lebanese mother's tears for every one Israeli was not the ravings of a madman. It isn't even just a reflection of the attitudes of extremists in Israel. It's actually reflective of attitudes of all Jewish-controlled "Western" media: Jewish civilian deaths are treated as 1000x more important than Gentile civilian deaths. In the value system of the New York Times, 47 innocent Lebanese killed is less than 5% as important as the death of a single Jew.

🇮🇱⚔️🇱🇧 The events in Lebanon and their effects on the U.S.-Iran ceasefire summarized: 🔶 As previously announced by Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu, defense minister Yisrael Katz, national security minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, and dozens of IDF officials, the IDF did not make any preparations to leave Lebanon, instead they pushed further into Lebanon attempting to capture the Ali al-Taher ridge overlooking the city of Nabatieh, a major population center for the Lebanese Shia. The Ali al-Taher ridge is heavily militarized by Hezbollah containing tunnel networks and was used in the past to launch missiles at Israel. 🔶 The IDF made two attempts to conquer the ridge and failed both times, losing 5 KIA including a Lieutenant-Colonel and over 70 injured to varying degrees. 🔶 This loss of life enraged and failure to capture the ridge the IDF who restarted airstrikes on Nabatieh and the surrounding villages, killing dozens of civilians. 🔶 As a result of the renewal of airstrikes, Iran scrapped plans to attend an in-person signing ceremony of the MoU in Geneva causing U.S. vice-president, J.D. Vance to cancel his trip as well. 🔶 As IAF airstrikes continued on June 19th, Iran has announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and threats to withdraw from the MoU if U.S. president Donald Trump doesn't restrain the Israelis 🔶 Trump called Netanyahu to try and force a ceasefire which came into effect two hours ago but the Israelis immediately broke it and continue to bomb Lebanon @CIG_telegram

🇮🇱⚔️🇮🇷 U.S. intelligence warns Israel is likely to undermine Iran peace deal, officials say Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces pressure to continue a military campaign in Lebanon, current and former U.S. officials said. U.S. intelligence agencies have warned the Trump administration that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is likely to take steps that will undermine President Donald Trump’s effort to reach a lasting peace deal with Iran, as the Israeli premier faces intense political pressure to continue waging his country’s war in Lebanon, current and former U.S. officials said. Israel appears intent on maintaining military operations against Iran’s proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon, an aim that would flout a core element of the fledgling agreement that calls for an end to hostilities in that country, according to intelligence reports, including one circulated this week, said the officials. The new U.S. intelligence report concludes that in the face of national elections this fall, Netanyahu’s political survival is linked to showing his domestic audience that he will not withdraw troops from Lebanon and that he is intent on escalating the fighting with Hezbollah, said one U.S. official familiar with the report. The official, like others interviewed, spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity. The U.S. intelligence report also describes Israel’s frustration with the terms of the Trump peace memorandum, which undermine its broader objective of maintaining maximum pressure on Tehran, according to a current and former official. The report reflected that any suspension of hostilities or withdrawal from Lebanon will be seen in Israel as a defeat for Netanyahu, said the current official. 🔗 https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2026/06/19/us-intelligence-warns-israel-is-likely-undermine-iran-peace-deal-officials-say/
