Charlie Munger’s famous joke: “All I want to know is where I’m going to die, so I’ll never go there.” It sounds like a throwaway line. It’s actually one of the most powerful decision filters in trading (and life). The mental model behind it is Inversion. Borrowed from the mathematician Carl Jacobi: Many hard problems become simpler when you flip them upside down. Instead of asking “How do I succeed?”, ask: “How do I fail?” Then avoid that path with extreme prejudice. In trading, failure usually looks like this: • Trading emotionally • Letting losses live in your head • Letting winners live in your heart • Fighting the market to be “right” • Switching strategies the moment discomfort appears • Avoiding honest reviews because the truth stings Here’s the beautiful part of inversion: You don’t need a perfect roadmap to success. You only need to know the behaviours that guarantee failure — and stop doing them. Success is rarely about addition. It’s about subtraction. Subtract impulsiveness → consistency appears. Subtract over-risking → longevity appears. Subtract emotionality → probabilities finally work. One question I ask myself almost every day: “If things go wrong today, how will they most likely go wrong?” Then I have started treating that path like the plague. That’s inversion. And over time, it’s one of the quiet edges that separates traders who compound from traders who keep repeating the same painful cycle.

Very rare to find very good setup -when u find don’t miss it. Federal bank Laurus lab Was such example. Few more are getting prepared. Look for them Buy and wait for 3-4 months.
