What do dinosaurs 🦖 and Nintendo Wii game controllers 🎮 have in common? They are all products of exaptation, a process of repurposing products for functions other than their original purpose 💡. And this is what inspired #NUSComputing’s Asst. Prof Lim Shi Ying and Emory University’s Chan Tian Heong to analyse 🔬 what members of the IKEA Hackers community are doing.
