Angel One - IP Matching for new customers Angel One has enabled static IP check for new accounts & you may face errors while onboarding new accounts. If you do face errors, please setup a meeting with us & your broker. We will explain them the requirements. We give a significant chunk of business to Angel One, but they do not seem to be noticing that at the moment. Note: Old accounts are continuing to work fine.

Attn. Dhan Customers This is regarding recent change made by Dhan to limit the API key validity to 1 day only. We have tried automating using the TOTP option provided by them, but due to strong encryption on the login page, it is not possible to reliably automate it.
We have sent an email to Dhan team asking for a solution, however we are yet to receive a positive response.

If Dhan's customers start requesting the broker, then we think they will understand the importance of this. Hence, we request you to contact us so that we can take you in the communication with the broker.

Finvasia Shoonya - Slowness & timeouts We have reported it to broker, awaiting response

IIFL Broker Update IIFL has launched new API called IIFL MARKETS API. They have mentioned that they will stop their old IIFL api as well as XTS api at some point & they requested all clients to migrate to the new IIFL MARKETS API. - We have added support for this new API - We have also asked IIFL team to send API Key & Secret Key to all of our existing clients - The setup process is given on below link https://stocksdeveloper.in/documentation/supported-brokers/iifl/

IP Address version 6 (IPV6) Support Ask your broker: Does your trading API fully support client connections over IPv6? There are 2 versions of IP address: 1. IPV4 - widely used and older format 2. IPV6 - newer format - It is extremely important that your stock broker starts supporting IPV6 in the coming months. - This is primarily needed to keep the costs down - We do see the costs per trading to go up for brokers which only support IPV4 Check your broker's API for IPv6 support. If unavailable, we can advise them on its business importance.

Precautions for tomorrow As per the recent circular, brokers ready with changes may go live tomorrow. So ... 1. Login and do some basic checks like viewing portfolio data, placing dummy order 2. If you observe any issues, please notify us. 3. Important: Although we will try to fix any issues arising out of brokers making changes. But depending on nature of the issue, it may take longer to fix the problem. So be prepared.

Regulation Timeline

New regulations deadline: Oct 01, 2025

Static IP requirement It is very likely that the deadline will be extended, but we haven't received any official communication yet. If you are broker makes it compulsory to use a static IP from tomorrow, then the process to obtain a static IP is given below. Using static IP will be a bit slower, so only use it if your broker is making it compulsory.

Their team just responded that they have resolved the issue.

Motilal Oswal - Exchange connectivity errors Reported to broker, their team is working on it.

AliceBlue - Launched new API We see that AliceBlue has launched new APIs and they are soon going to stop the old APIs by the end of this month. AliceBlue users may face disruption in service as it is not possible to complete the development work in such a short span of time. We request users to speak to the broker to extend existing API deadline or switch to other supported brokers.

Choice Broking - Issue The broker has either stopped or modified one of the APIs (user profile) needed for login id verification. This was done by the broker without any notice, resulting in outage.

Dhan Issue - Orders placed via Dhan website or Dhan API are not visible on Dhan Mobile app. - Orders placed from Dhan mobile app are not visible on Dhan website or Dhan API.

Dhan Broker – Access Token Update Dhan has recently introduced a change where all newly generated access tokens will have a maximum validity of one day. - Existing tokens will continue to remain valid until their respective expiry dates. - Any new access token you generate will now need to be regenerated daily and updated in our system. Kindly take note of this change to avoid any disruptions.
