Hi guys as far as prelims test series summaries is concerned, wanted to ask something Do you guys want summaries of SFG + Forum Simulators for Prelims 2026? Why? More than 10k students give this, but as exams approach, revising this 5000+ questions 3 times gets next to impossible. Also, an uncomfortable truth in the UPSC journey: anything revised only once is almost as good as not revised at all. Single-pass reading often translates into lost opportunity, especially the TIME which is already limited. The purpose of these SUMMARIES is straightforward to make multiple revisions possible. If many people want it, and react, will release this too. Keep following this channel to stay tuned! (Click here)

🚨 DAY 1 : 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs 📖 Meaning : The Hierarchy of Needs is a psychological framework that postulates human motivation behind any activity, through a 5-tier pyramidical model. Each level represents a different set of needs that an individual pursues to achieve fulfillment. Humans have 5 types of needs(as shown in the pyramid), the lowest one being Physiological Needs. Once these are taken care of, we move to the next order of needs. Maslow highlights that an individual moves through these levels sequentially. Initially, we focus on lower order needs and as these needs are fulfilled, we tend to focus on higher order needs. ✏️ Examples : 1️⃣ Dr. Rajendra Prasad took only 50% of his salary, saying that he did not need the rest. Rather than focusing on Lower Order Needs(of amassing property), he was dedicated towards Self-Actualisation Needs, i.e. the purpose of his life was to free India from shackles of British Rule. 2️⃣ Mahatma Gandhi dedicated his life to self-improvement and social change. By emphasizing on higher standards of morality, he propagated the belief that every individual must focus on Self-Actualisation Needs. 💬 Key Quotes : “If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, I warn you that you’ll be unhappy for the rest of your life.” Abraham Maslow 👉 PYQs where the topic can be applied : 1️⃣ Although no direct question on Maslow has been asked, you can use the concept in the following PYQ : All human beings aspire for happiness. Do you agree? What does happiness mean to you? Explain with examples. (2014) 2️⃣ This concept is Highly Useful in Case Studies. Whenever you have to choose between Ethical behavior and Personal Profit (such as money, promotion, reputation), use this concept to justify your Course of Action. You can write in the following manner : “By Choosing Option XYZ, I am prioritizing Maslow’s Higher Order Needs of Self-Actualisation ( that is, Morality), rather than being driven by Lower Order Physiological Needs." Hit ❤️ if you are going to dedicatedly follow this series. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd
