Nexus 7 - half broken still amazing I have an old Nexus 7. Still holds charge, it's just f*in amazing. Dropped it and the upper 10% of the screen does not react to touch. Until now I was just tilting the tablet to rotate the screen but today it just stopped, making it almost impossible to use. Any smart tricks how to solve this? Can I somehow reduce screen size just like when tipynf one handed? Anything else? What tablet comes close to this?... https://redd.it/142n7ce @reddit_android

Select all text and delete it and then cut and paste what you want your text to be for the file you want to upload. Maybe some PHP code for example. Use the save as function to rename the file to whateve... https://redd.it/14399bp @reddit_android

I made a simple script to wirelessly backup your Android to your PC This is a simple script that I made in order to always have my phone backed up. Yes, I know that there already exist some tools like Syncthing and similar scripts, but I wanted something as simple as possible with minimal software required. It uses rsync (from the MagiskSSH module), so no USB cable is needed. If you are interested, you can see it here... https://redd.it/143h1yk @reddit_android

The bundle of apps that are worth trying – On 5 June completely free Last Christmas, I got a new smartphone with Android as a Christmas present. I was bothered by the drabness of the system apps, so I was looking for "replacements" that would make my smartphone a bit livelier. First and foremost, I wanted something that had a nice user-friendly look and feel. At the same time, I wanted something that looked very similar (ideally the same) or that could be customized, for example, by choosing colors, customizing fonts, etc. Another thing that mattered to me was ... https://redd.it/1414t9p @reddit_android

Taking this in account and having the example of PCs having CPUs and GPUs using ridiculous amounts of energy is extremely disturbing. Reducing the size of the process node is one of the main sources to get better efficiency, if we lose that we are gonna reach a performance barrier at some point since we are pretty limited by the own size of the devices, we cannot ... https://redd.it/1426fqb @reddit_android
