Today, I have something I want to tell all the Dungjungs. I don't even know if all the feelings I have right now can be conveyed through these letters, because from the very first day we started this journey together, I truly never thought that one day I would have to write this message.
The past 5 years have been an incredibly special and meaningful time in my life. There isn't a single moment that I regret, because every single moment is a deeply valuable memory to me.
We've been through so much together, countless times—happiness, sorrow, fulfilled hopes, disappointments, smiles, laughter, and tears. No matter what kind of moment it was, everyone was always right here with me.
You all made me realize that on the days I was exhausted or felt like I had no strength left to move forward, I just had to look back and I would always see you here. You were my encouragement, my help, my driving force, and the guiding light that helped me see the path ahead, even on days when I couldn't see it myself.
Thank you for making an ordinary kid, who once couldn't even see his own worth, slowly learn to believe in himself, dare to think, dare to dream, and dare to act. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn, to make mistakes, to improve myself, and to discover that I, too, can be someone of value.
Thank you for supporting this kid and helping him grow little by little, until he became the Joong you see today.

I believe that every relationship has its good times and its bad times. And as time passes, sometimes two people grow and change in different directions.

I will never let this change diminish the value of everything we’ve built together, because these past 5 years have truly meant so much to my life. And I know they have meant so much to the hearts of all Dungjungs as well.
I apologize to everyone. I’m sorry that this change might cause many of you to feel sad or disappointed. I’m sorry that our story might not have a beautiful, fairy-tale ending. But I want everyone to be assured that this decision stems from accepting reality and from the mutual understanding of two people who once traveled this road together.
Sometimes, accepting that our path is no longer the same can be incredibly hard, but I believe that being honest with our feelings and with reality is what we owe to each other.

Everything that happened along our journey really meant so much to me. I'm so glad that, for once in this life, you and I had the chance to travel together, to go through both the good days and the bad, to laugh, cry, make mistakes, and grow up together.
Even though our paths aren't the same anymore today—and I'm truly deeply saddened by this—I've never once felt that the time we spent was a waste. Everything that happened between us will always hold its own unique value.
