- Learn to identify rock types, record structural measurements & use basic GIS tools.
- Assist in sample collection, GPS data recording & preliminary lithological descriptions.
- Assist with sample preparation, maintaining field logs & participating in safety briefings.
- Responsible for maintaining field equipment, records & sample management procedures, organizing sample bags & ensuring proper labeling and chain-of-custody protocols.
- Digitize field notes, help with data entry into geological databases & support geologists during trench mapping and drill site preparation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate technical documentation.
- Contributing to data interpretation & report drafting under supervision.
