Admin Note: The chatroom is temporarily disabled. We created it as a way for members to chat about survival guides and tips but there are so many bots and spammers and not enough organic conversations. We may bring it back later. The primary Offgrid Download is still active, though we have been a little slow there lately. I'll pick it up soon. Thanks.

This guide provides information on building and filling caches with survival essentials. It discusses the materials needed to build a homemade cache and how repurpose other storage devices for use as a cache. The included checklist serves as a guideline for what type of items to include in your cache.
Further details explain where and how to deploy a cache at predefined points and the importance of sharing (or not sharing) the coordinates.
Tips are provided for developing a bugout or emergency response plan that incorporates the use of said caches.

Here's a quick guide on a well known survival kit concept.
An Altoids survival tin is a compact and portable emergency kit designed to fit in your pocket, backpack, or glove compartment. The idea is to carry essential survival tools and supplies in a durable, small metal tin. These tins can be customized for various environments—wilderness, urban, vehicle, or everyday carry (EDC). Because of their portability, they are an excellent backup option when a larger kit isn’t practical.
Superesse makes pre-built tins and kits. They offer an Altoids size tin that holds 6 smaller slider top tins. Each of the smaller tins holds a different kit. You choose what kits and they pack and ship. Order a large tin and 5 kits and they'll add a 6th kit/tin free if you mention "OFFGRID DOWNLOAD" in the notes at checkout.
