💎 Forgiveness of Past & Future Sins
Fasting on the day of arafah forgives past and future sins. Prophet ﷺ when asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, said, “It expiates the sins (minor) of the past year and the coming year.” (Muslim)
💎 Allāh ﷻ Releases Souls from Hell on This Day
Prophet ﷺ stated, “There is no day in which Allah sets free more souls from the fire of hell than on the day of Arafah.” (Muslim)
💎 It Is the Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ
Hafsah (RA), the wife of Prophet ﷺ said, “Four things the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never neglected: Observing fast on the day of Ashura, Arafah, three days every month, and offering Fajr Sunnah prayers early in the morning.” (Muslim)
💎 It Is the Essence of Hajj
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “Hajj is Arafah.” (Nasai) This means that one’s Hajj won’t be completed if they don’t visit Mount Arafat. So, for those who cannot perform Hajj, fasting on the day of Arafah is a way of renewing their promise to Allāh ﷻ & committing to starting fresh.
💎The Religion of Islam was Perfected on This Day
On this day, Allāh ﷻ revealed to Prophet ﷺ “This day I have completed your religion for you, perfected my favour upon you, and have chosen Islam as your religion.” ( Quran, Al-Ma'idah: 3) Hence, fasting on the day of Arafah is a way to celebrate this monumental occasion.
💎Is Fasting On the Day of Arafah Compulsory?
The Day of Arafah is one of the most important days in the Islamic calendar. Even though it’s not compulsory to fast on this day, it is highly recommended, especially for those not performing pilgrimage (Hajj).
💎The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The most excellent dua is the dua on the Day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said, is (la ilaha ila Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir)

Fiqh Of Sacrifice
]📝.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
_*What should be done with the sacrificed meat, skin etc?*_❓
1️⃣ It is preferable for the one who has made a sacrifice to not eat anything on that day before he eats from it, if this is possible, because of the Hadith, “ *Let every man eat from his sacrifice.”*
📘 (Classed as Sahih in Sahih al-Jami’, 5349).
📌 *This eating should be after the Eid prayer and khutbah*.
📒This is the opinion of the scholars, including ‘Ali, Ibn ‘Abbas,Radhiallahu anhum Malik, Ash-Shafii and others rahimuallahum.
♻️The evidence for this is the Hadith of _Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him): “The *Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not go out on the day of Fitr until he had eaten, and he would not eat on the day of Adha until he had slaughtered (his sacrifice)*._”
📘(Al-Albani said: its isnad is Sahih. Al-Mishkat, 1/452).
2️⃣ *It is better for a person to slaughter the sacrifice himself, but if he does not, it is desirable for him to be present when it is slaughtered.*
3️⃣
It is desirable to divide the meat into three
:
🟡 *one third to be eaten*,
🟡 *one third to be given as gifts* and
🟡 *one third to be given in charity.*
♻️
This was the opinion of Ibn Mas`ud and Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them).
♻️ _Any ways, if you desire to keep the whole of meat with yourself, there is no sin._
📖🚫 _The scholars agreed that it is *not permissible to sell anything from its meat, fat or skin*._🚫📖
📘 In a Sahih Hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
🚫 “ *Whoever sells the skin of his ‘Udhiyah, there is no ‘Udhiyah for him (i.e., it is not counted as ‘Udhiyah).”*
🗡️
The butcher should not be given anything of it by way of reward or payment, because ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
“ *The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded me to take care of the sacrifice and to give its meat, skin and raiment ( covering used for protection ) in charity, and not to give anything of it to the butcher as a compensation.*
He said, ‘
*We will give him something from what we have.’”*

🥩🥩 _*To Whom Can We Distribute Meat*_🥩🥩❓
✔️ It was said that it is permissible to give the butcher something as a gift,
✔️and that it is also permissible to give some of it to a non-Muslim if he is poor.
✔️ or a relative or a neighbor, or in order to open his heart to Islam.
