🌿 “Purity is half of faith, and good character perfects it.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih Muslim) ⸻ Islam is not a faith confined to words of belief — it’s a complete way of life that refines the soul, thoughts, and actions. The Prophet ﷺ beautifully summarized this in one profound teaching: “Purity is half of faith.” (Sahih Muslim) This single statement carries oceans of meaning. Purification (Taharah) in Islam is both external and internal. Externally, it means physical cleanliness — performing wudu, keeping our clothes, surroundings, and bodies clean. Every act of worship begins with purity, reminding us that cleanliness is not just hygiene; it’s spirituality. But purification runs deeper than soap and water. The heart, too, needs cleansing. Jealousy, arrogance, greed, and hatred are stains that no water can remove — only repentance, remembrance of Allah, and sincerity can purify the heart. A purified heart is like a mirror — when it’s clean, it reflects divine light. When it’s clouded with sin and ego, it can’t recognize truth. That’s why Allah loves those who turn to Him often, saying: “Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent and those who purify themselves.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222) ⸻ 🌸 And then comes the other half — good character. Purity connects us to Allah. Character connects us to His creation. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved of you to me are those with the best character.” (Tirmidhi) Our character is the reflection of our faith. You can memorize Qur’an, pray all night, and fast every other day — but if your heart holds arrogance, if your tongue wounds others, or if your presence spreads discomfort — something essential is missing. Good character (Akhlaq) is not merely about smiling or speaking softly; it’s about embodying mercy, patience, forgiveness, humility, and honesty — the very traits that defined the Prophet ﷺ himself. He was called Al-Ameen, the trustworthy, even before revelation. His conduct softened hearts, his words healed wounds, and his mercy uplifted those whom society had abandoned. When Aisha (RA) was asked about his character, she said: “His character was the Qur’an.” (Sahih Muslim) ⸻ 🌿 The Connection Between Purity and Character Faith (Deen) is complete when both aspects exist together — purity of the inner and outer self, and refinement of the character. Purification without good manners makes one self-righteous. Good manners without sincerity make one performative. Together, they shape a believer who pleases Allah in private and benefits others in public. When you purify your thoughts, your actions follow. When you nurture good character, your surroundings transform. ⸻ ✨ Reflection: Half of the Deen lies in purifying yourself. The other half shines through your character. Keep your heart pure, your intentions sincere, and your manners gentle — and you’ll find yourself walking the path of the Prophet ﷺ. https://chat.whatsapp.com/LaMQfQOpOe5IKtvuwlqTPg?mode=wwt T.me/Gemsofjannah98

🔹Narrated Al-Harith bin Suwaid: Abdullah bin Masud related to us two narrations: One from the Prophet (ﷺ) and the other from himself, saying: A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this." Abu Shihab (the sub-narrator) moved his hand over his nose in illustration. Sahih al-Bukhari, 6308 In-Book Reference: Book 80, Hadith 5 #Hadith_of_the_day @Gemsofjannah98

🌸From darkness to light|Reflection on the Ayahs of Quran وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِينَ “Eat and drink, but do not be extravagant. Surely, Allah does not love the extravagant.” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:31) 🌿 Summary of Tafseer: This ayah teaches moderation and gratitude. Allah permits us to enjoy halal food and drink but warns against excess. Tafseer scholars like Ibn Kathir mention that extravagance includes wasting food, overeating, or using blessings for pride. True gratitude is to use Allah’s favors within limits and for His pleasure. Extravagance (israf) is not only in eating, but in lifestyle, speech, and spending. Islam encourages balance — neither deprivation nor indulgence. 💭 Points to Ponder: Do I eat with gratitude or out of desire and habit? Do I waste food or money while others go hungry? Am I mindful of how much I consume — in food, wealth, or even attention? 🌼 Action Points: 1. Eat with Bismillah and end with Alhamdulillah. 2. Take small portions; avoid food wastage. 3. Practice simplicity — in meals, clothes, and spending. 4. Give a portion of what you have to someone in need. 5. Remember: moderation is sunnah, extravagance is disliked. 🤲 Dua: English: O Allah, bless me with contentment and gratitude. Protect me from extravagance and waste. Make my heart satisfied with what is halal and pure. ✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨💫✨ Whatsapp - https://chat.whatsapp.com/LaMQfQOpOe5IKtvuwlqTPg?mode=wwt Telegram - T.me/Gemsofjannah98
