I wrote about how many interview rounds you would like to go through because my team is looking for new team members. And when I was interviewing for my current role, I had more interview rounds than other candidates. I remember that I have around 4 rounds. And they all made sense to me. But now, when I am on the opposite side of the interview process, I notice one thing I would like candidates to do. Please, ask your future teammates some questions, there is always time for such questions: about the work, what they like, and maybe, what they do not like about it. It’s good when the hiring manager answers all your questions about the project and company, but it could be possible that you won’t work closely with them. But, for sure, closely with possible teammates. At the same time, asking questions gives you more scores and shows your interest in the role. And when you get the job, you will already know what areas of interest you share.
