Seems Google Deepmind allowed everyone to run better than them first with the LLMs & NLP, and now quickly started dominating in the computer vision niche at a margin that is fearful. 😅 Google currently has the best image and video generation models out there at the moment. With models like Imagen 4, which now brings new levels of realism, sharper text rendering, and better accuracy to prompts, ... and Veo 3, which creates 4K videos with synced audio, smooth motion, and most surprisingly, cinematic controls, something we could never imagine having, Google is clearly setting a mountain high standard for image and video generation. Other labs will have to play catch up for a while. What keeps me in a very quiet awe majority of the time is that these breakthroughs are considered small upgrades at this level, meaning what is to come will be crazier., Don't sit and watch this innovation. Keep evolving with it and making loooooots of money.

On Monday, I had the privilege of honoring an invitation from the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Imo State University, to deliver a keynote speech at their Career Day. I spoke on a subject that deeply excites me: “How Tech Can Improve Our Modern-Day Careers.” I want to sincerely thank the University authorities and faculty leadership for granting me the honor of standing as a speaker in the very hall where I once sat as a student. I must commend sessions like these and strongly recommend that more of them be isolated and organized with intent and precision, because there are noticeable tech gaps among students that must be addressed if we are to be truly future-forward and catch up with the rest of the world. While my team and I are doing our part, it is important for students to complement the University’s relentless efforts by speeding up their personal growth, research, hunger for innovation and aligning with where the world is headed. Without which we'll all remain a tiny piece of the larger pie. Together, we can ensure that the next generation of graduates is not only career-ready but also future-ready. I’m honored to share that I’ve been invited as the Keynote Speaker by the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria, for their upcoming Career Day this Monday. I will be speaking on the topic: “How Tech Has Improved Our Modern-Day Careers.” This subject is deeply personal to me because it aligns with my mission to help onboard Africa’s vast pool of employable talent into the world of technology. I believe tech is not just transforming careers; it is reshaping opportunities, empowering communities, and unlocking Africa’s true potential. I gladly confirm that I will be honoring this invitation and look forward to engaging with the brilliant minds at Imo State University this Monday. Excited to Announce Our Flagship Tech Conference: Techvival Africa ! Last year, amidst our continent wide work to upskill thousands of Africans in simple tech skills, I noticed something worrying. So many people who just jumped in, were already losing interest in their chosen tech paths. Maybe due to choosing the wrong things to learn or not getting paid after learning - As they heard. The excitement that once pushed them to try Automation, Design, Gen AI, Software engineering, UI design, or Cyber Security was slowly fading. And yet, the future is being built on tech. That’s why we launched Techvival Africa!. And it is Not just another tech conference, It is Revival in every sense of it. A convergence to learn what is moving the needle, reignite passion for tech careers and remind us why we fell in love with it in the first place. This year at Techvival Africa 2025, we’re gathering 3,000 African techies and opening up conversations on the future that’s already here: ➡ There will be live training on: - AI Agents — Smart digital helpers that can handle tasks on their own. Like Social media posts, writr and respond to emails, apply for jobs, provide customer support, handle dms, etc - Workflow Automation — Using tools and AI to take care of repetitive routine tasks that you do everyday, so work gets done faster and easier. - Vibe Coding — Creating websites, apps, software and SaaS products just by chatting with AI and saying what you want. And the best part? It’s 100% virtual. No travel, no queuing outside the hall. 📅 Date: 20th & 21st September. Ticket: Free. Online. Open to everyone. Techvival is more than an event. It’s a movement to bring back the spark and learn new skills. And you should be part of it. Register: www.techvival.com — Victor Kelechi Kingsley CEO, DEXA

Just 12 minutes. That’s all it took. Yep! That's me . . 👆 I had the privilege of meeting & pitching to Nicholas, CEO of Mocha — the world's first complete AI app & software builder in the market (pronounced Moka and absolutely more powerful than most Ai app builders I've tested). And in exactly 12 minutes, I secured a partnership between Mocha and DEXA . At first, Nicholas was brutally honest: He said “Africa isn’t really on our priority list right now. We’re focusing on the Americas and Europe because of the larger purchasing power. Africa doesn't have the purchasing power we need, compared to these continents, so for us, Africa is not an "IF" question, it's a "When", and definitely not at the moment.” I smiled and responded: “That makes perfect sense, Nicholas. But you need to see what’s happening in Africa right now. I get invited to speak at tech events, and I speak with a lot of young builders across Africa every day, and the products they’re ideating and building are absolutely mind-blowing and when they hit the market, they cannot be ignored. If this level of energy can be felt and seen with access to less, imagine what can be built when powerful tools like Mocha gets into the right hands across Africa. While Africa may not be the largest market today, it is the fastest-emerging one, and you’ll want to be part of this movement. You should". His reply? Immediate. “Yes!, That's true Victor, you’re right. Especially Nigeria. (I grinned with Pride 😎) I meet so many Nigerian builders at YC (Y-combinator), the creativity, the energy, the drive. It’s unmatched. It's as if Nigerians have this thing about them that no one else has. I just love it man. We are doing this. So tell me Victor, what do you want? How much are we looking at for the partnership” My response? (I'll share in my next post about this). Well... That was the turning point. And now, we’re bringing Mocha to Africans, not just to DEXA. This is just the beginning. More details to follow. But for today, I’ll simply say: Congratulations to us. Victor, DEXA CEO
