🔭🇧🇷 Brasil colabora em projeto de supertelescópio que mapeará 37 bilhões de estrelas Mais de 100 pesquisadores brasileiros estão desempenhando um papel crucial no projeto internacional Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST), que visa revolucionar nosso entendimento do universo. Este supertelescópio, atualmente em construção em Cerro-Pachón, no Chile, deve iniciar suas operações em 2026, com o objetivo de criar o mapa mais detalhado e abrangente do cosmos, abrangendo 37 bilhões de estrelas e galáxias ao longo de dez anos. Desde 2015, o Brasil tem sido um participante ativo deste projeto monumental, graças a um acordo mediado pelo Laboratório Interinstitucional de e-Astronomia (LIneA).
