John Wick: Chapter 4 Verdict Not very good! Too long and bloated At this point, it's a parody of itself The body count is in the thousands? (Overkill) Some of the fight choreography was amazing, and some was laughable. Very inconsistent. In the first film, there was an interesting balance of tone between the fantastical underground world and the real world. This just took place in the underground world. When "real" people were near John Wick and others fighting, they acted like video game NPCs—distractingly weird background actors. Also, I'm so sick of CGI blood and muzzle flash effects. Few memorable moments (cool homage to The Warriors / Clint Eastwood) The PR has been incredible at building hype Keanu is a bonafide star; people want him to succeed But the film is a letdown

The Whale (2022) is quite possibly the most sickening movie I’ve ever seen. It showcases a teacher who abandons his family to pursue exploitative gay sex with one his mentally ill students. And yet the man still finds a way to make himself the victim, gaining 400lbs and slowly killing himself with junk food while tormenting everyone he knows by making them watch. A truly disgusting film with zero redeeming qualities.
