After hoisting the flag, Mouli shook hands with the students, and sweets were distributed among them. The students looked thrilled to have Mouli in their midst. On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Mouli of the 38th National Sports hoisted the tricolor at Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy. During the event, Mouli was seen interacting with students, and many of them were excited to take selfies with the mascot. Addressing the gathering, DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta expressed pride in having the mascot of the National Sports hoist the flag at the academy. He also motivated students preparing for the upcoming NDA and CDS written exams scheduled for April 13. To mark the occasion, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital, where around 50 units of blood were donated by DDA students, faculty, staff, and local residents. Additionally, a health checkup camp was conducted by Healing Touch Hospital, and an eye checkup camp was organized by Amritsar Eye Clinic. On this special occasion, DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta and Deputy Director Mrs.Divya Gupta released a Company Sponsorship Test Book for aspirants preparing for the IMU-CET Entrance Exam for the Merchant Navy. Additionally, an SSB Officer Intelligence Rating (SSB OIR) test was conducted for students, and 31 winners from previous weekly tests were honored with medals, certificates, and cash prizes. DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta also met the DDA Women’s Cricket Team, which will be participating in the ‘Urja Cup’ Women’s Cricket Series on February 8 in Dehradun, and extended his best wishes for their victory. The event was graced by DDA Commandant Col. Sudhir Verma (Retd.), Center Head Mr.Umesh Kuniyal, Academic Head Mr. Uday Mehra, along with students from DDA and the Foundation Course ‘Pratham Pag’, faculty members, and staff.
