Christian Leadership: What is the big deal about it?
We probably have Christian role models and leaders that we look up to - it may be your pastor, mentor, a well known Christian preacher, or perhaps, a friend. At the crux, what makes a good Christian model and how should we deal with the fallout when our role models fail?
Join us at FN to take a deep dive into what Christian leadership should look like according to the word of God.

Progressive Christianity is a recent movement in the Christian sphere with a strong emphasis on social justice and environmentalism. At times, revisionist theology is used to interpret the Bible, potentially sparking theoretical conflicts in the understanding of core Christian doctrines. How does Progressive Christians apply revisionist theology? Is there any principles of hermeneutics and interpretation that can help us derive appropriate understanding of scripture?

HERBs 2: Sexual Purity
Culture can affect the way we view sexual purity, and in the world where sex is getting normalised, scripture’s call on the necessity to maintain sexual purity can appear obsolete.
We know that God calls his people to be sexually pure, and we as modern-day students in NTU are no exception. Thankfully, the Old Testament contains a variety of wisdom literature that we can draw from to learn essential life lessons. How can we best interpret wisdom literature? What insights can we draw from wisdom literature about sexual sin? How do we as modern day Christians in NTU respond to issues revolving around the normalisation of sexual sin? Join us in HERBS to find out more.
Date: 19th Sept 2023
Time: 7pm to 930pm

Fellowship Night 2 (CF Exchange)
What if God is one of us?
Similar to the hit pop 90s song 🎤 by Joan Osborne, the idea that God could be one of the stranger that you meet is actually found in the Old Testament Israelite culture.
As Christians, we are called to show hospitality, exempt from any prejudice or pride. But what does the scripture say about Christian hospitality, and how do we practically live it out? Let's uncover the theology behind hospitality and what it really means for us! 🤭🫡
Join us for a unique CF Exchange Event, bringing together ECF, CCF, and ISCF students, all under the shared love for Christ 💌

Hi guys! we've been receiving some qns on why FN2 is on a mon when FN1 was on a wed. The original idea was for fn days to be on different days so that ppl who cannot make it on one day can make it on another.
After hearing from the ground, the exco has decided to keep the day of FN consistent so that it is clearer and easier for CFers to plan and rmb.
For now, FN2 will be still on a Mon. But to help us, pls do the poll to indicate which days are best for you so we can plan for future CF-wide events :-)
Hi guys we are still looking for Bible Camp Committee members. Please do join us if you would like to help plan for this years bible camp.
It will be a 5D4N camp!
2 Jan-6 Jan 2024 (location TBC)
Committee will meet twice a month
Please sign up here! Or reach out to us at @chestie3, @shennenigans or @shanatjo
Fellowship Night 1
Christian Hope and Vulnerability
NTU-CF's direction for this year is to be anchored in hope, united in faith (AHUF, yea!). As servants of Christ, we have the privilege of having hope in Christ. But what exactly is this Christian hope? Could vulnerability enhance our fellowship and community? How can we hope and thereby practice being vulnerable? How can we not only receive others being vulnerable, but also be able to share vulnerably?
Come join us for FN1 and find out!
Date: 6th August 2023
