Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎ reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: “Allāh has mobile (squads) of angels, who have no other work (to attend to but) to follow the assemblies of ḏikr and when they find such assemblies in which there is ḏikr (of Allāh) they sit in them and some of them surround the others with their wings till the space between them and the sky of the world is fully covered, and when they disperse (after the assembly of ḏikr is adjourned) they go upward to the heaven and Allāh, the Exalted and Glorious, asks them although He is best informed about them: ‘Where have you come from?’ They (the angels) say: ‘We come from Thine servants upon the earth who had been glorifying Thee (reciting SubḥānAllāh), uttering Thine Greatness (reciting Allāhu Akbar) and uttering Thine Oneness (reciting Lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh) and praising Thee (reciting Alḥamdulillāh) and begging of Thee.’ Allāh would say: ‘What do they beg of Me?’ They (the angels) would say: ‘They beg of Thee the Paradise of Thine.’ Allāh would say: ‘Have they seen My Paradise?’ They (the angels) said: ‘No, our Lord.’ Allāh would say: ‘(What it would be then) if they were to see Mine Paradise?’ They (the angels) said: ‘They seek Thine protection.’ Allāh would say: ‘Against what do they seek protection of Mine?’ They (the angels) would say: ‘Our Lord, from the Hell-Fire.’ Allāh would say: ‘Have they seen My Fire?’ They (the angels) would say: ‘No.’ Allāh would say: ‘What it would be if they were to see My Fire?’ They (the angels) would say: ‘They beg of Thee forgiveness.’ Allāh would say: ‘I grant pardon to them, and confer upon them what they ask for and grant them protection against which they seek protection.’ They (the angels) would again say: ‘Our Lord, there is one amongst them such and such simple servant who happened to pass by (that assembly) and sat there along with them (who had been participating in that assembly).’ Allāh would say: ‘I also grant him pardon, for they are a people the seat-fellows of whom are in no way unfortunate.’ [Ṣāḥīḥ Muslim 2689]

Eid Mubarak! May Allāh answer all our duas, forgive our sins, remove our hardships and increase our blessings.
Eid Mubarak! May Allāh answer all our duas, forgive our sins, remove our hardships and increase our blessings.

All mankind is from ʾĀdam عليه السلام (Adam) and Hawwā (Eve), an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety (taqwa) and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. - Extract from Khuṭbatu l-Wadāʿ [The Prophet ﷺ's Final Sermon]

Abū Hurayrah رضي الله عنه‎ reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: An ʿUmrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the next, and Ḥajj which is accepted will receive no other reward than Paradise. [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1349a]

And remember when We assigned to ʾIbrāhīm the site of the House, saying, “Do not associate anything with Me in worship and purify My House for those who circle the Kaʿbah, stand in prayer, and bow and prostrate themselves. Call all people to the pilgrimage. They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel from every distant path, so they may obtain the benefits in store for them, and pronounce the Name of Allāh on appointed days over the sacrificial animals He has provided for them. So eat from their meat and feed the desperately poor. Then let them groom themselves, fulfil their vows, and circle the Ancient House.” That is so. And whoever honours the rituals of Allāh, it is best for them in the sight of their Lord. The meat of cattle has been made lawful for you, except what has already been recited to you. So shun the impurity of idolatry, and shun words of falsehood. [Sūrah al-Ḥajj, Verse 26-30]

ʿArafah - The day Allāh perfected Islām for us. Narrated by ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه‎: Once a Jew said to me, "O the chief of believers! There is a verse in your Holy Book Which is read by all of you (Muslims), and had it been revealed to us, we would have taken that day (on which it was revealed as a day of celebration." ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه‎ asked, "Which is that verse?" The Jew replied, "Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My blessing upon you, and chosen as your religion islam." [Sūrah al-Māʾidah, Verse 3] ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه replied, "No doubt, we know when and where this verse was revealed to the Prophet. It was Friday and the Prophet ﷺ was standing at ʿArafat (i.e. the Day of Ḥajj)" [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 45]

ʿĀʾishah bint Abī Bakr رضي الله عنها reported Allāh's Messenger ﷺ as saying: “There is no day when Allāh sets free more servants from Hell than the Day of ʿArafah. He draws near, then praises them to the angels, saying: ‘What do these want?’” [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1348]
