Rally in Vandalia, OH - 11/7/22 (Here’s what stood out to me) - Ohio under siege - A tropical storm came through yesterday… I never saw anything like that before… but we did it for Marco Rubio [Why did he say it was for him and not the people?] - People said it was like a religious experience… the music came on then boom! [BOOM!] - God sent us the heaviest rain - We finished our original border wall plan [he didn’t say building; he said the plan was finished] - Nancy Pelosi, she’s an animal, too - What they’ve done is unbelievable, it’s been unleashed [what was unleashed???] - [Uncle Sam] you loved it a lot two years ago, but you’re going to love it all very soon [how soon?!?!] - And you may end up in a unclear war with him [Kim Jong-un] and Russia because our people don’t know what the hell they’re doing… unforced errors [what are “unforced errors???] - We don’t play games - Truth to Vote Catherine Engelbrecht let out of prison [he didn’t mention Gregg Phillips nor did he say the correct name of their organization, True The Vote] - We’re going to be watching this election for maybe weeks - Swamp them with good votes [define good votes!] - Started process of unconstitutional property confiscation [something coming down the pike with Judge Engoron] - Maybe our country would be better if I actually had the nuclear codes…. Bill Clinton lost the codes twice, but I didn’t [if???] - I think there’s going to be a very big wave, I hope so, starting right here - You keep them guessing - Nuclear is 15 more times more powerful than before [m’kay] - Lot of Space Force work is done here in Ohio [such as???] - Epic victory… Tomorrow…. JD, all that work, you’re going to be so happy, I believe - I have some of them and sometimes I don’t let them back in [basically referring to people who brush off Trump] - He’s an elite, an elite in intelligence and that’s what we want [JD Vance] - He will never be owned by the establishment… and he won’t be owned by me either unfortunately, I’d love to own him [re: JD Vance. There’s something I don’t recall ever hearing before] - Are they even here? [Referring to Gov/Lt Gov. Surely Trump knows if they were present, hmm?] - I want to find a woman that can beat Jim. I’d pay a lot of money to watch that [kinda an odd thing to say] - PA, think about it, they’re going to be 3-4 days late… what a joke… there’s something going on - Hold China accountable for unleashing the virus upon the world… $65 trillion dollars in damage they can’t afford to pay, but something will happen [what will happen???] - Biggest threat sick sinister and evil people from within our country you know who I’m talking about you see them all the time - Worst stock market since 1872 [there’s that year again] - *Trump speaks about Ohio attributes* They gave us heroes … Gave us Ulysses Grant [hint] - They don’t have the pilots to fly the planes [what does this even mean?!] - Tomorrow is an important, even critical election, a country saving election - I will make a big announcement on Tuesday, November 15th at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach - We will take our country back [he added this to his closing statement] - It is time to start talking about greatness, greatness, greatness, greatness for our country again [he added 3 more greatness-es to the speech] - JD, thank you, go get them [pointed to JD; one of the last things he said]

November 7, 2022 - Vandella, Ohio

By this point I'm sure you have read all kinds of things concerning Palestine, Ohio, or the state in general. Some theories seem far fetched, some info is disheartening. Got me thinking about Trump's rally in Vandella on November 7, his last rally in 2022, the day before the mid-term election. Below is his speech from Ohio if you're interested in re-watching. Under the video is a post with what caught my eye at the time of his rally. Note that Trump says, "Ohio is under siege." (At the 3:58 mark.)

This captures what I've been feeling. God triumphs over all. His glory will be seen!

We feel it. The spiritual battle intensifying in our physical world. We are surrounded by panic, mayhem and instability. Storm. Walk. Faith. Jesus. Look around. Falter. Panic. Eyes off Jesus. I want to be so spiritually focused on the Lord that I stop being a worldly responder, taking my eyes off Jesus when the thunder rattles and the rain pelts. What if... What if instead of feeling outraged, I reach for the calm of Jesus? What if instead of thinking about what is afflicting me, I accept His healing touch? What if instead of looking at the hopelessness of the situation, I say My God can? What if instead of being angry at the injustice, I thank God for being holy and just? What if instead of assuming I know, I ask God to grant me His wisdom, His truth? What if instead of hastily replying to an irk, I pray? What if instead of giving in to the fear, I abide in Him? Walk behind Jesus? Walk beside Jesus? Let Jesus carry you? How do you envision your relationship with Him? Trust. Walk to Jesus. Rest. Flourish. Prevail.

Behind the Scenes of Revival -2- But what I have learned most about them: They are supernaturally hungry for God. This comes naturally from an outpouring of God's Spirit. The gift of faith and a growing hunger with every taste of God's goodness. And, my guess, this outpouring will truly wreck them for life. (In the best way) They wonder why the older generations have gatherings where ministry time is for members when they want to be a church that 'ministers to Jesus.' This is not a judgment but an observation from them. Can I be honest after very little sleep? I’m wrecked, also. Church, there is a hidden generation of Gen Z leaders rising up before your eyes. We must quickly wake up to the fact that an emerging generation hungers desperately for the supernatural and rebels against any form of religious entertainment. What will this mean for what’s next? No idea. I can barely comprehend what I’ve experienced. But this Asbury Revival (outpouring) sort of changes everything for us. This emerging generation expects something now: They expect heaven on earth to be the norm.

Behind the Scenes of Revival -1- Confession: I went to Wilmore. I didn’t feel I needed to go (see earlier post) but some close friends at the University/Seedbed asked me to help. When they called, I knew God was inviting me. Help with what? For 9 straight days at 2 hour increments, college students have led worship at Hughes Auditorium in Wilmore, KY. That’s been about 100 worship teams this far. And they don’t seem to be ending anytime soon. The team organizing all of this needed help. So Brenna and I went to serve. Hear me. The 1970 Revival was centered on student testimony. 2023 is centered on worship. Ministry to Jesus through song. (Though a student in 1970 said music was just as prevalent.) Here is what I found behind the scenes: A 24 year old woman who is a military sergeant. She has organized all of this with a small team of college students and her “servant of a husband.” Their iPhone text group is named the “Worship Stewards.” They are a force. They operate out of a storage closet called “the Messy of Messies” because of course, it’s messy and cluttered. Brenna and I felt like we were called to triage, helping physical bodies keep up with spiritual power. Our first morning, we were invited to join the team. We arrived to their early morning meeting and experienced what seemed to be a military operation. Everyone is physically exhausted but spiritually on absolute fire. They ask Jesus for wisdom in every decision. No decision for worship is human strategy or planning. They pray, ask Jesus and then discern together. They speak in turn by raising hands and submitting to one another as they make decisions. It is like nothing I have ever seen before. All five of them were united when a decision was made. This 24 year old woman is brilliant, humble and wise past her years (Like decades.) Love you M. Furthermore, they have a process for collecting worship teams. Ready for it? The Holy Spirit highlights people in the room. The “Worship Stewards” then ask those students to lead in a worship band. You will love this next part: This newly formed worship band gets prayed for in the outside hall and then goes to the consecration room. Yep. Consecration room. This is where Spirit-filled hidden “prayer warriors” pray over this newly formed team. This goes on for 30 min or more. (This consecration room is for any person who will step on the platform, speakers included.) Then the worship team comes back down the stairs, acclimates to the room and finally, after an hour of preparation behind the scenes, switches out with the team on stage that’s been leading. The “Worship Stewards” do not want any team to lead worship that has not been prepared in this way. No platform given until ready. This “ready” can take more than an hour. As I said, this has happened to 100 college worship teams thus far. So who are these college worship leaders at the Asbury Outpouring? Who sits on the “Worship Steward” team? You will never know. They are a nameless and faceless generation. They are rebelling against the celebrity culture infiltrating the church. They choose to remain hidden with no live stream, visible lyrics, moving lights or big screens. Their motto is: “Radical humility, ethnic unity.” They hope to steward well one thing: a simple offering of song represented by every ethnicity.

Freedom’s spirit knows no bounds. It’s not beholden to anyone or anything on earth. Freedom’s spirit isn’t determined nor deterred by economic status, ethnicity, locality or faith. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Corinthians 3:17). Since we are created in the image of God then it can also be said that we are created to be free. Even if one is born into unimaginable poverty, horrific circumstances, or lives a life of slavery, the spirit longs to be free. It’s an intrinsic value of being human. Freedom’s spirit cannot be squelched, locked up, or eradicated. The oppressors temper freedom’s spirit. They attempt to restrict it, mock it, make it conform. Nonetheless, freedom’s spirit cannot be contained. Be encouraged. We watch cowardice spread. Take heart: courage is contagious. We watch malice be uncovered. Take heart: God reveals He’s in control. We watch darkness expand. Take heart: it cannot overtake what God protects. We watch lies propagate. Take heart: the truth sets us free. With God, nationwide change is possible. It starts with us individually telling Him, “Use me to touch my world.” This is how a spiritual revival, a God revolution begins: one life at a time. It begins with me. It begins with you.

God is so good! All. The. Time. Last Valentine’s Day Felix was not walking on his own. During my visit that day, his trach was removed. We’ve come so far in one year. And I don’t just mean Felix. I mean you, too. People from all over poured into the channel as our crisis unfolded in late 2021 and early 2022. As soon as Felix turned the corner, thousands left the channel –in a matter of days. It would feel like our lives during this ordeal was only a dramatic performance for the curious if it wasn’t for your continued friendship. We went through this trial together, you and me, and I believe we’re stronger for it. You’ve stayed with me all this time, offering prayers, kindness and good-fellowship. You inspire me to write. Thank you for your support, your encouragement, your acceptance of kooky* me. I love you ❤️ *Or, is it cookie?! 😃

It’s love. That’s what it’s all about. Love. Jesus was born out of love, for love, to show us how to love. We love because He first loved us. What’s the point of success, owning cool gadgets, having big follower counts on social media and insisting on being right if you don’t love? We hurt. We still need to love. Forgiveness is love. Praying is love. Quiet worshipful offerings to God is love. Being in awe of the Creator of the Universe is love. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 If. Jesus said if. The choice is ours. We rise above the struggles, the fray, the scary unknowns, the unfair trials through love. His love. His agape love. We say thank you to Him for His love by loving others. Jesus is the reason for everything. Jesus is the manifestation of Love. That’s what it’s all about. Love.
