Hi Sweet Friends! I've received many requests since The Liberty Tavern channel started to open it up for comments. I'm wondering if that is something you'd like to see happen? I'd also like to know if anyone would be interested in volunteering to help admin 😃 For those wondering what The Liberty Tavern is, it's another one my channels where good, encouraging news is posted (as opposed to all the, "if it bleeds it leads" stories); interesting political/current events issues are shared; and things that I think you should have a head's up about.

The well is empty. It’s not always realized though. Not even when we’re furiously crossings items off the ‘to do’ list. Not even when we flop into bed, mentally drained. Not even when we’re short-tempered with those we care about. Not even when we feel fine, think straight and don’t encounter any bumps in the road. Our enemy knows we will become drained. How often has he prevented us from replenishing the flow? How often have we crawled and clawed our way through obstacles to get to The Well? What if the Living Water wants us to stop in our tracks, stop with our good intentions, stop with our feeble attempts of limping along unaided, and just cry out for Him? Would He not meet us where we are, offer us nourishment? Sometimes it feels like we are not enough: we cannot do enough, be enough. We disappoint those we love. We put down and forget to pick back up. We care too much, we care too little. We say too much, we don’t say enough. Our minds are unsettled, our feelings hurtle us along the shaky ride, our body accumulates another scar. Sometimes it feels vast and scary; sometimes it feels cramped and crowded. Too noisy. Too busy. Stop. Close your eyes. Let the world whirl around you while you rest in His Sonshine. When your spiritual ground is dry, cracked, flawed, and The Well seems out of reach, stop where you are. He will always meet you there to pour out His Living Water. Ask then accept.

Back in September 2022, we spotted what appeared to be blacked out stars on the American flag at a Trump rally. Here are some pics from Trump's rally in PA this past Saturday. Looks like what we saw back in September 🤔

It might feel like the walls of darkness are closing in, but don't let that be the choice of how you see life. Find the good, the lovely, the sweet, the tender, the precious, the pure, the love and tuck it securely into your heart (Philippians 4:8). We are surrounded by tiny miracles. God puts beautiful people and priceless moments in our path. He loves you so very much. Be bold and live for His glory!

I thought this was so powerful. Be encouraged, renewed by His spirit. Rest in Him, on Him, through Him. Thanks to B. for sharing this with me.

I don’t have details about what we’re seeing in this video, but it stirred my spirit. Was it spontaneous? Planned? Are they praying over their city? Are they rebuking? Reclaiming? Are they pleading for forgiveness and mercy on behalf of their fellow citizens? Are they praying for guidance and blessings? How many of us would be willing to do this? How often? Where would you go? Schools? Libraries? Town Hall? Police stations Hospitals? Who would join you? How many of us would be willing to spiritually break the walls of Jericho? Would you consider asking the Lord about this?

Since I was a little girl I’ve loved driving through the Big Cities. There’s something about the tall buildings, the busyness, the history. If it wasn’t so unbearably hot outside, I would have immensely enjoyed walking around parts of downtown Memphis, studying the architecture, reading the historical markers, watching the ebb and flow commerce. When you’re an adult, you learn more about the spiritual oppression that happens in urban areas. As a lover of history the decay saddens me greatly. As a Christ follower, the rot of wayward souls who inhabit these areas breaks my heart. How many of us have given up on the Big Cities nearby? After all, we hear that this is our enemy’s domain. But… God gave the world to Adam and his seed. That would be us. How many of us have made an effort to rebuke and reclaim? I’ve been mulling over this idea of reclamation for awhile now, but it really hit home when I was downtown for jury duty. What does it look like? What does it take? Then I saw the below video yesterday.
